SUV driver killed in Hoosick crash

I would add that the truck driver did a tremendous job keeping his severely damaged rig from jack-knifing, rolling over or crashing into other vehicles. Had he been carrying a full load of fuel, Hoosick could very well still be burning.

I must agree with wankee. I drive a box truck often on that same road and I'm ALWAYS being passed no matter HOW fast I'm going.

First of all impalafarmer find the fact before posting. It is a matter of fact that the truck was not being passed.to bad some of you truckers think all vehicles are at fault in car truck accidents according to the news the accident was indeed an accident and now truck was being pased by a car at a high rate of speed. You may want to watch how you word your comments in the future there just maybe family members reading or maybe get the facts of the accident before posting. And yes thanks to the skill driving of the truck driver or there could have been more than just my father.
