Coughlin and his entire staff should have been fired, after the failure of the Giants in the playoffs in 2008 and their failure to play with any professional pride the last two games of 2009.

They should move the team to Salt Lake City where the fan base is more intelligent.

I think it's time to get rid of Gilbride too. His offense has become predictible. It's amazing that the running game went down hill so far from last season. And no, it's not because of the loss of Ward. Gilbride's play calling is terrible. Opposing defenses seemed like they knew what was coming most of the time, especially on the ground.

We'll see a few more coaching changes on D, and special teams, but I don't anticipate any on offense. Gilbride knows Eli too well, but he does have to do a much better job getting the most out of the weapons he has, like Boss. Fewell will have to find a D-line coach, and I'm sure the LB coach is done too. Secondary's safe, for now. One decision factor will be whether the Giants will stick with the 4-3 in 2010. If they do, then position coaches must have experience. I don't think they will.

Eli's a big boy now. He should be able to play without Gilbride. I agree that Boss should get more balls thrown to him but that's not the only remedy to the offense. They need the same punishing running game as last season. The offensive line is still an outstanding group. They didn't just all of a sudden starting sucking this year. There are enough weapons that they should be scoring a lot of points. I really like the young receivers. Sure, they have things to learn but as a young group they have the chance to be outstanding along with Boss who is young too. My problem is that, if you watched a lot of their games, it seemed like the other team knew exactly what was coming next especially in key situations. The blame for that goes to the man calling the plays...Gilbride.
