first reports stated two hand guns with multiple clips were used in the newtown shootings and that a bushmaster type rifle was found in the trunk of the car, only after the government got involved did the story change to which the bushmaster was used and there is video of officers taking a assault rifle from the trunk of the car, so people believe what you want, it was a tradgic event that day we all know that, but don't let the government sway you with one of the biggest scams in history to promote anti gun laws, typical communistic actions. please go back and read carefully through the newspaper files and get the true facts

You gun-nuts just don't get it, do you?

Nobody gives a sh*t about your wacky, delusional conspiracy theories, or what kind of gun killed those children. It was a high-capacity gun, that's all we know and that's our target.

You're trying to crawl out from under this tragedy with word-games, and it's not working...and that has you frustrated. You want desperately to disassociate yourselves from any responsibility; but that can't happen, because every one of you gun-freaks who helped create a demand for high-capacity assault weapons bears some amount of responsibility.

You're the chilish men who wanted to play soldier...the selfish men who refused to give up your pathetic little toys to help save lives...The men with inferiority-issues so severe that you had to go out and buy powerful killing machines in order to make up for some personal weakness or shortcoming.

Why don't you tell the parent of those 20 little dead children your theory about which gun killed their precious child...I'm sure it'll make all the difference in the word, you patheic little men.

Right Comrade. Dissarm the law-abiding citizen first. It will be real easy from then on. Nothing will be done to the law-breakers. Nothing. Your new emperor has taken the first step to get rid of the old republic.

you are a communist who would throw your rights away to any governmentbullshit. it's about rights and nothing more, i didn't say i even owned a gun dipstick, so take your head out of your %ss and wake up, soon the government will be telling you what books to read stupid, remember hitler and stalin, the next great communist is now been molded and is in charge of our country. as for the parents of those young children i truely feel sorry for the and am very sympathtic, it is a tragady that should not have happened, a combination of very bad thing happened to create that terrible event that we may never know, mental issues, family issues, and obviosly that young man should have never been let any where near a gun or any other weapon, and should have never been shown how to use it, if his parents knew he had mental issues, there are allot of things the media likes to perposely distort, and that would be fact and blame, the media is in the business of
news, and not necessarily potrayed in the right way. remember it is our right to free speech that lets us right like this, maybe that will be the next one they take away from us,i would also like to know how many of the parents, husband and wives of the victems actually owned guns of any sort, just saying!

The new conspiracy theory is that the CT. massacre never happened. The Gov. and anti-gun advocates staged the shootings with hired actors. They based their theory on photos of the President taken with a sister of one of the children that was slaughtered stating that she was still alive?

When they came for my guns, I said nothing. When they came for friends and neighbors who spoke up I said nothing. When they came for me, it was too late.

I have no problems with them building these guns but they should only be make for the military and police dept. no for sale to the general public. no one hunting needs more then five shoots. also make the present laws for getting a gun more . you can buy a hand gun and must have a background check., it should be done on all guns.

What did people from Duofold or Univac do when they left Ilion or folded? One of the product line that Remington produces is now considered taboo by the majority.

Everyone is missing the most important part of the new gun law. Mandatory reporting by professionals of mentally ill individuals who present a risk. Mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect by professional has been in place for years. Now the public may find some protection from the "nut cases" wandering around as opposed to the "nut cases" receiving the protection from the public.I think this is a great first step in revising the way we treat these damaged individuals.Let's face it, if a mentally is person is looking to cause damage they will find another weapon. Build a bomb etc. We have to identify and protect the public from that desire to cause damage.Right now that is not happening. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Just to be clear regarding the mental health part of the law,it sounds nice and helpful to appease some people, but there are no services available. There's at least a 3-month wait to get in to see anybody and the closest inpatient facility is in Syracuse. Used to be in Utica until our local officials gave that away too. There's no place for people to get help because services keep getting cut, help isn't going to happen. That's what a lot of people don't know.

The truth about the mandatory reporting is not going to happen. The doctors refuse to comply because of patient doctor laws. Once again rush rush rush with no common sense. All to look good.
