BAE confident of closing improved Typhoon deal with Saudi Arabia
BAE Systems is confident of concluding talks with Saudi Arabia to adapt the terms of the country's Project Salam acquisition of 72 Eurofighter Typhoons, but has confirmed that the deal's increased price remains a topic of discussion.

Price issues follow Eurofighter on all contracts. If the latest news coming out of India is correct, the bid price for the Indian M-MRCA has been the main factor in Eurofighters failure to secure the contract. All other nations with interest in the aquisition of Typhoon must be having second thoughts after this latest announcement.
