A Thomson Airways Boeing 757-200, registration G-OOOX performing flight BY-4558 from London Gatwick,EN to Skiathos , was descending towards Skiathos when the crew reported hydraulic problems and aborted the approach entering a hold at FL120 and FL110 for about 45 minutes.

The problem is clear, they were using crappy General Electric engines which have a max cap for roughly 6 years even though their deceptive engineers mark them for more. This wouldn't have happened if they were using Rolls Royce engines which aren't only ten fold more powerful but also have over double the lifespan. There's a reason Boeing is putting them in their new 787's and making GE obsolete for the future.
