LICIA CORBELLA, CALGARY HERALD, with no science & AGW denier, loves articles that prove nothing.

I love articles that prove a lot:
Democrats prefer smaller, hybrid, & more fuel efficient cars than re-pubic-lick-uns, with an emphasis on the re-pubic-lick-uns licking pubics.

From the article:
SUPERIOR, Wis. A plan to begin shipping tar sands oil across Lake Superior and potentially open the door to shipping large volumes of this relatively new form of thick crude across the Great Lakes has been dealt a setback for now.
//////////

The Great Lakes have been assaulted by many industries. After crossing the northern U.S. from Washington state(near the Salish Sea....Puget Sound) to the Great Lakes, I saw the ugliest sight I ever saw on all my journeys. In the Great Lakes waters off Superior, Wis., I saw the ugliest rust & bright red colors of pollution that proceeded miles out to Lake depths.

So, industry says its already polluted, lets dump some tar sands oil into the Lakes, too.

Ayyyaay.. Michael Mann wrote in NYT last week:

The urgency for action was underscored this past week by a draft United Nations report warning that another 15 years of failure to cut heat-trapping emissions would make the problem virtually impossible to solve with known technologies and thus impose enormous costs on future generations. It confirmed that the sooner we act, the less it will cost.

How will history judge us if we watch the threat unfold before our eyes, but fail to communicate the urgency of acting to avert potential disaster?
