FAA suspends 2nd air traffic supervisor

An air traffic supervisor has been suspended as the result of an incident in central Florida over the weekend in which a Southwest Airlines jet and a small plane came too close together, putting both planes in danger, the Federal Aviation Administration said Tuesday.

rarely would I defend a Supervisor but in this case a suspension is way outta line. He was using the tools available at the time, safety was NOT comprimised and all ended well. Job done, move on and focus on those not performing thier duties.
