US Airways jet makes unscheduled landing after passenger acts suspicious

Flight attendants heard a woman claiming to have something implanted in her skin, and the flight - bound for North Carolina from Paris - landed in Maine.

Instead of landing in Maine, the plane should have continued on until they were over the Atlantic Ocean. Then dump the filthy muslim out of the plane with the restroom sewage.

You know something? Nowhere in the reports I read does it say the woman was a Muslim. Nowhere. She was clearly disturbed, but there is no evidence she was a Muslim. Being born in Cameroon does not automatically make one a Muslim.

And, if she was conducting a "dry run", why did she identify herself? A successful "dry run" would have been to take the flight completely unnoticed.

First,could it have been a dry run? Most likely not BUT bad people COULD use that info gained to make changes if needed. Think about it. What does the crew do in flight? Throw them out of the plane, screening at the airport? How in depth is the screening? She COULD have been set up by people that are sympathic to the cause. We really don't know , we need to find out and take this serious before one does get through.

Again, if it had been a dry run, why did she come forward? Why not just remain quiet and let the flight continue normally? That way, NO ONE is ALERTED to the plot, unless, of course, the plot is simply to scare people.

I agree, we need to learn this woman's motivations, but, until we do, we should just nor automatically ASSUME that this was an act of terrorism of some kind. That kind of knee jerk reaction causes a lot of needless trouble.

You are reading too deep into my commit. You can not reason with the insane. Was it a dry run,most likely not. But bad guys could learn from this. In the small chance it was a dry run. They were successfull in getting them on the plane.
