Delta will wait pending the talk out of southwest regarding the 80 717's.Southwest is considering returning these for new 737's.These would be less expensive than new a/c and yet are fairly new and fit the 100-120 seat category.
Delta seems to know the value of securing used aircraft such as the MD-90.The northwest mentality lives on at delta,who else keeps aircraft for over 30 years.Smart move.
