Aibus technology (German) is light years ahead of the Americans.

This Boeing Dreamliner should be classified as UNSAFE by the insurance industry.
Any airlines that still flies this time bomb death machine should be viewed as irresponsible, and their insurance policy be deemed INVALID.

Boeing 787 is a totally new type of airframe that others will copy in the future or they will be left behind …Boeing contracts much of the 787 plane components to other countries so it really is a global player …….Yes there are teething problems just like on the launch of the airbus 380 but they will be sorted out ….

380 I hear is having problems with the wings ...Small fractures also it is known in the industry that the wiring was converted to aluminum to save weight .....aslso roll royce had engine blow outs on a few of them ....remember ?????

It's called re-design a platform.
I see you know swat aboot marketing..lol!

787 leaking fuel...and arcing batteries that cause fire...
380 small fracture points on wings...

Which might be the safest...lol.

No amount of BS from you now will save them. Your own American FAA has signal their 'No Flight' flag.
This plane has been delayed rolling out for over four years. This is an indication some very serious and inherent design faults; and it will not be corrected with just an overhaul in the hangers.
The plane should be scrap.
It will be the cheapest option/solution for Boeing!
The other option is to engage the smart Chinese engineers. Outsource them to take the dreamliner plane apart to sort the niggling problems, and assemble the plane in China.
It is well know, these days the Americans with their fat fingers are not suited to make high tech gadget toys.

I don't know if these Yanks are naturally stupid or what. But their constant comparison of the Boeing Dreamliner 787 with Airbus's 380 is dumb!

It's like comparing the sophistication of the Chinese culture to that of the foreign dominated in-bred Pinoy ones.
No comparison!

Most of these comments are based upon lack of knowledge. The Boeing company has produced the most advanced ane reliable airctraft in the world for many years, including both commercial and military airframes. There is a problem with the 787 which Boeing will fix properly. Sour grapes from the Airbus comments, as their pride and joy is about tp be ra[;aced by the Dreamliner.

787 design is very advanced from the composite fuselage to the electrical systems …….example the 787 runs many of its components on electricity rather than hydraulic like all planes now in service…..Once the problem is solved with the lithium ion batteries this is and will pave the way for all airplane manufactures….What is the advantage ? weight and reliability once the teething problems are solved ….

About teething:

(IMO) the word "teething" has NO PLACE in this dialogue. The written word "sticks" and regretfully, some "writer" chose that word, and it stuck.

Hats off to the men and women of Boeing and their Suppliers, they did a phenomenal job creating the Dreamliner! I'm absolutely looking forward to flying on this equipment and am 100% confidant that the 787's will be in flight for years to come!

And - High Five to the FAA, they wasted no time by taking and making a decisive, admirable and possibley economically unpopular stand.

What a dumbo!

".....example the 787 runs many of its components on electricity rather than hydraulic ..."

The first Airbus planes were designed specificall be 'control by wire' rather than hydralically. This is a fifty year old techno format the Europeans already mastered, now these backward American 'aeronautical' engineerings are trying to copy in Boeing, and failing miserably.
