Boycott Project Runway

I've been watching Project Runway since the opening credits on the pilot. But I've long since couldn't understand why this show NEVER has chosen a Black designer to win any of it's seasons since it's been on the air.

I've decided to give it one last chance since we're in the "Age of Obama" to see if they'll give us a chance to win. Of course the last black designer was cut on tonight's show. There has always been a stigma of the "Fashion World" having it's share of racism, so I guess Project Runway follows suit with it's coldness towards black designers.

For those who feel as I do about Project Runway's racism towards black designers, contact A&E networks, since they own Lifetime and let them know that Project Runway might as well be part of the Fox News lineup!!!!

I agree Epperson was brilliant and he didn't have a poorly made outfit like Logan, even Ra'mon didn't deserve to kicked off from that one mistake (swamp dress as they said). I will not be watching the rest of this season. I honestly would believe Heidi was racist if she wasn't married to Seal.lol. She's still questionable though.

Not to mention, how many times has a black judge even been a guest judge out of all the 7 season's it's been on???

Yep, I question Heidi too. Whether she's with Seal or not. You'd think she would be a little open minded with black designers but noooooo!

Wonder how she will react when her children get a dose of blacklash themselves hmmmmm????

I could not agree more! This show is very racist. One black woman was sent home for a plain black dress with someone else created a fashion nightmare. Then a black man was sent home when someone made a garbage bag dress. Every year they prove how racist they are! They should be ashamed of themselves. Heidi's personal relationship has done nothing for her barometer of race. Useless.

Like I vowed last season I will be boycotting PR forevermore because of their disgusting winner selection last year, Seth Aaron, with his Nazi inspired collection. The judges, and network should have issued a deep apology for not calling him out on his "inspiration" and for that PR is and never will be on my watch list again. Boycott this show! I will not be supporting a show that promotes a glamourous image to the military-industrial complex. Thanks.

That does not mean she is not racist , she just likes that one black person not all black people. Yes the show is racist

I've been boicotting that show for years. To all the judges, esp. the gay designer, I dislike you a lot you racist. And to that fasion magazine editor, I hope you will be brought down from your high chair one day and be at the mercy of one of those black designers you've treated so badly. Heidy, I'm so glad Seal got rid of you.

I also gave project runway another chance by watching this last season to see if a black would have a chance at winning. Michael Knight, Kara Saun, Kato the girl from africa and Sonjia from season 10, were all promosing designers but were let go. I believe they are all racist!!! I will never watch another episode of that shit again!!!

I'm glad to see others have boycotted this racist show as well. There's No Way you can tell me there has not been One Black designer out of all the seasons of Project Runway worthy and talented enough to win. I stopped watching several seasons ago. And yet again, after another season, a black designer did not win. What about Michael or Kotu? I felt they were excellent, talented and well rounded individuals. It's so ASHAME that situations like this still arise in this day and time. It should be called Project No way!
