I just read the script. it was hard to take. yes it's got tarantino's formidable bite and style going for it, and I love all the actors that are going to be in it. But ------- I felt awful reading it. The "revenge" part is actually very short compared to the extensive rape murder and abuse we watch slaves endure. but it's all meant to be entertaining ---- which does not sit right -- judge for yourself. I hated it.

I found this film to be rather interesting. The part and character that intrigued me most was Samuel L. Jackson’s character. I thought this was a great example of White Supremacy; the thought that is was supreme to be white. This black man was racist even to his own kind. He chose to be like the white man and think lowly on black men. There was so much of Bell Hook’s Black Rage coming from the main character, Django. A scene in the film that I thought was a good example of Narcissist Rage was when Dr. Shultz and Django were riding along with Clavin and Django spoke to the N- in such an aggressive tone. He didn’t care about them, he only cared about himself it seemed. Of course he was playing a role, but I definitely still thought it was a great example. An example of Militant rage would be all the collective rage that Django had towards all the white men that had harmed him and his wife in the past and those who were harming her presently. This movie was overall a good film.

Boycott this totally unrealistic, thoroughly racist, historical joke of a movie.

he has no authentic take on slavery with this film. All he did was combine "SkIN GAME" staring James Garner ,aspects of "kill bill" and a German tale....
