Denzel Washington On Michael Jackson Coming Over For Fried Chicken

Grantland caught up with Denzel Washington and during their convo, the Academy-Award winning actor who is generating new Oscar buzz with his latest hit, Flight , noted that contrary to what you may see online, he's not exactly a stickler for social media.

Michael was a strict vegetarian once upon a time during the 80's, but his doctor's recommended that he add some meat to his diet. Michael would go periods without eating much and then perform losing to much water weight. He needed the protein to keep his body from wearing down and becoming anemic. Most of the time he did abstain from meet, but his weakness was for fried chicken. All the fans knows this and its not a secret. We all have weakness, including you.

I don't recall Magic making statement about Michael being a vegetarian at the memorial but I was upset at the time. I only saw it the day it viewed and I don't want to see it again to check what he said, frankly. But I do recall a story Magic told where Michael invited him over for dinner at Neverland and the chef asked him what he wanted and Magic ordered baked chicken. When dinner was served, the chef brought out his baked chicken to him and to Michael he gave a bucket of KFC. Magic was like, hey I want some! They ending up sitting around on the floor, laughing, eating chicken and having a great time.
