Prince is a smart lad and will look out for Blanket. MJ's children are intelligent, their dad taught them a lot. He played chess with Prince as a toddler and prepared them all for a creative life in showbiz. I am sure that they would have been in his movies if he had of survived. What a great shame for everyone.
Joe would never hurt Blanket but he can see the by has great potential to be a star. Blanket is fortunate to have such a caring grandfather. MJ wasn't exploited by Joe but he was abused by him and Joe learned from that sad mistake.
Prince is still a child. And if you believe Joe would never hurt Blanket, you're far more deluded than I thought.

In what way can Joe hurt Blanket?

Joe is aware that it's no longer the 50's era. A time when children did as they were told and weren't heard. Physical punishment was a solution and verbal abuse was a release. Those approaches toward parenting had been tried and true methods for generations and psychology was some mental illness that no one wanted to catch.

Give Joe some credit, the man is showbiz savvy, has the right contacts to assist with Blanket's career ambitions. It's all up to Blanket not Joe, this is the 21st century.......

I stand aghast. Why on earth would you want to see a child like Blanket put on stage, at such a young age? He doesn't even attend regular school because it's obvious he isn't capable of it. Do you think Michael would want Blanket "trained" by the father he hated?

Unbelievable.

I know. He doesn't seem as photogenic as the first two purchased children.

If Blanket is going to be in show business he's gotta drop the nickname, and hire a much younger manager. I think he will go nowhere but down if Joe Jackson guides his career.

The stage never hurt child star, Shirley Temple. You mistake quietness for stupidity but it's the opposite. Blanket is the quiet achiever.

He loves his nickname, it sounds endearing. It's just another way of hanging on to the memory of his father.
MJ moved on from Joe and Joe wants to provide Blanket with a good foundation on what to expect and get from a showbiz career.

Yes, but Shirley had spunk, was precocious, endearing, and wise beyond her actual age. We have yet to discover if Blanket possesses any of these qualities.

Joe is the same man who promoted his new show-business company, at the BET Awards, right after his son died, and talked about getting his grandchildren onstage. Please tell me you don't really believe what you wrote.
