"I Am Legend" has a distinct drop-off point, which is a shame, because for an hour it's a surprisingly absorbing last-man-on-Earth movie.

the only part me and my freinds didnt like wad the ending. but its not allways the perfect ending,

Actually it's a remake of a remake. The original is "The Last Man on Earth", tho it didn't have the same kind of CGI/special effects as the Will Smith version, it's a better film.

The movie is about the benefits versus the costs of gun possession. The enemy is unarmed, rabid and outnumbers the good guy (Will Smith).

It shows how liberals can destroy America because they're always searching for miracle cures to make society perfect. When they fail they harm everyone.

The movie mocks animal rights people and shows how they can harm man (and dog).

They were kind of weak on CGI in 1958 when the original movie starring Vincent Price was made from the book written by Richard Matheson. The original creatures were vampires and there was no blatant political statements made like in the remakes. It had more of the idea that civilization is fragile.

'I Am Legend' portrays the benefits of gun possession and the people who hate it, and the deadly consequences of their values and political activism.

Notice how 'rabid' the story makes Raz. Pacifism and the people who hate guns and self defense are a deadly and immoral culture that hides behind a guise of non-violence values; some of them, like Raz, want to eradicate people like me. They're not as non-violent as they want everyone to believe.
