If this is true (which I'm confident it is), then it's so sad that this guy has had to live with this for so many years. Sounds like he was utterly brainwashed by Wacko, and just couldn't bear to tell on his abuser. The kind of language that if he did blab he would end up in prison is what Jordy said. Anyway, he needs support, unfortunately it's not going to come from f'loon's.

The same kind of thing happens with many childhood victims of sexual abuse. The Catholic church and their massive settlements in recent years is proof of that. It sometimes takes years for victims to finally come forward and that is what is happening with Wade Robson. Of course, floons always claim that people want money when it comes to Michael Jackson's deeds with young boys. I wouldn't know what it is like to have surpressed memory because it has never happened to me personally. According to experts on child molestations though, this is very common with sexually abused children. Wade claims that Wacko molested him for 7 years from aged 7 to 14. It has never looked this bad for Michael Jackson's disgraceful legacy as it does at this very moment. The floons can not really defend this. The haters continue to be right and obviously knew that sooner or later, more victims would come forward. That just happened.

To determine how often children falsely report being sexually abused, this study asked professionals to indicate the percentage of children with whom they had worked who had made false reports. In addition, this study examined the variables that might be associated with the percentage of false allegations reported by professionals. The factors examined were age of the child, profession of the interviewer (law enforcement versus mental health), expectation of the interviewer (whether they believe children generally do not lie about sexual abuse versus interview children neutrally), and sex of the interviewer. Boston-area professionals, including 74 law enforcement professionals and 127 mental health professionals, were interviewed by telephone. The results indicated that women reported a smaller percentage of false allegations than did men, and that all professionals reported fewer false allegations for children under 6 than they did for children age 6-9 or 10-12. An age-of-child X profession-of-interviewer interaction indicated that the law enforcement and mental health professionals were differentially affected by children ages 10-12. Mental health professionals reported a significantly higher percentage of false allegations than did law enforcement professionals. The results of this study indicated that professionals reported a small percentage of cases as having been false. The results also indicated that the percentage of false reports was related to the sex of the interviewer, age of the child, and profession of the interviewer.(BHK)

Sometimes the child may be so traumatized by sexual abuse that years pass before he or she is able to understand or talk about what happened. In these cases, adult survivors of sexual abuse may come forward for the first time in their 40s or 50s and divulge the horror of their experiences.

"Repressed Memory Syndrome" has been heavily criticized by both legal and mental health professionals. There is also "False Memory Syndrome", in which it has been shown how mental health professionals manipulated, manufactured, and implanted false memories in their patients.

In Robson'c case, I don't think either applies. In his case, as usual, greed is the motiving factor.

Wade and his wife had a child 3 years ago - I bet having his own child got him thinking about his past...

It's no wonder that people think it's all about money, because it is. Virtually every single one of these MJ accusers has sought financial settlements.

It would be interesting to see what medical records exist of Robson's so-called 'breakdown', and see how the dates line up with the development of the wrongful death suit against AEG.

it's no coincidence that this turn of events has taken place as this wrongful death suit is progressing.

Have you seen the claim? No.

How can you claim anything, unless you are biased? Intelligent people are waiting for more information before they come to any conclusions about Wade Robson's claims.

You've shown your true colours, celebrity worshipper.

So far I've seen a lot of skepticism among neutral people who aren't even MJ fans.

Maybe because a lot of people's bs radar goes off at just the mere mention of "Repressed Memory Syndrome".

It is difficult for Michael's victims not to seek financial settlements because he happened to be a very wealthy pedophile. If he were a trailer park pedophile, he would've been a prison years and years ago. You are just making a accusation against AEG that might or might not have anything to do with them. We don't know what exactly caused Wade Robson's breakdown at this time. You just rather accuse him of lying than see him as a victim of Michael Jackson. He did sleep in Michael's bed and witnesses did see them in the shower together. We already know what his mother said years ago even if Wade denied being molested in 2005. Whatever triggered his surpressed memories is something that child molestation professionals should document as they treat him.

The case is under seal, right now. What I want to know is who leaked the information to the press. Something you're going to have to face is there are witnesses to Wade's sexual abuse.

To kill your theory about every victim seeking financial settlemtn from Michael, per Larry Feldman, no civil suit was ever discussed with the Arivzo family.

Ah yes, the old 'lots of people are saying' argument - which isn't an argument at all. It's just 'lots of people are saying this so I'll believe it'. You just believe what other people say?

So much for 'looking at evidence objectively', celebrity worshipper. You are just siding with MJ no matter what.

I would put *laughter* but this isn't even really funny - closed minds like yours are extremely sad when people claim to be abused as children (whether true or untrue):-(

That is what the experts say. It would make sense that a child would block that out.

A dance career is very short.

The pay is bad because there are too many dancers to fill positions.

Only the top 10% dancers get work and can make a living at it.

I don't believe Wade Robson has made plenty of money.

Robson had a nervous breakdown because his career is coming to a close and hasn't earned him enough to retire on.

And yet he has worked with some pretty big names in the business.

He claims that he still has money saved.

Just because he has worked with some pretty big names in the business does not mean that he has earned a much as them. Dancers are low paid.

Of course he will claim that he has money saved from his short spanned career. I have a paltry amount saved too but could do with lots more too.

Add drugs and alcohol to the mix that Wacko may have given Wade Robson going way back and that changes everything. Children do block out certain things if they are passed out, which Wacko is known to have used with his "Jesus Juice" and taste for meds. Obviously, it wouldn't take much for MJ to spike a seven year olds drink up in his locked bedroom in Neverland. Do you really think Wacko wanted his victim wide awake and fighting him? Please.
