Despite that error, the humble MJ had a very productive and privileged life.

Michael Jackson with The Jackson 5 made a couple unsuccessful singles for the Steeltown label in 1968 and 1969.

"Big Boy"/"You've Changed" (1968)

"Some Girls Want Me For Their Love" bw/
"You Don't Have To Be 21 To Fall In Love" (1969)

They were not hits and failed to chart.

However, The Jackson 5 signed to Motown and in 1970, managed to put 4 number one singles on the pop singles charts the same year.

"I Want You Back" bw/ "Who's Loving You"

"ABC" bw/ "It's All In The Game"

"The Love You Save" bw/ "I Found That Girl"

"I'll Be There" bw/ "One More Chance"

The Jackson 5 or The Jacksons never achieved one number one album though.

In reality, Jacko's first number one album was "Thriller" in 1983. Therefore, it took him 13 years to finally hit the top with any album.

That must be a record.

Another fast fact is that the clown's last billboard number one single in the US was "You Are Not Alone" in 1995. That was over 18 years ago.

It is certainly debatable that "Thriller" is still currently the best selling album ever because I've heard that "The Eagles Greatest Hits" has surpassed it as the best selling album of all time.

In reality, it is impossible for Wacko to have sold 750 million albums. His last was "This Is Shit" in 2009 and since then, Wacko can barely make it into the top 10 nor can his Sony death albums hold their own in the top 200 for very long. The clown has hit rock bottom as his fading legacy continues to downslide.

Well, the floons have posted on here that he had billions of fans. I guess a fan (to them) includes anyone who has ever heard of him. So, 23 trillion copies sounds about right to a Wacko fan.

Jackson 5 singles that failed in the seventies:

"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"
"Maybe Tomorrow"
"Wanna Be Where You Are" (solo)
"Ain't No Sunshine" (solo)
"With A Child's Heart" (solo)
"Morning Dew" (solo)
"Music And Me" (solo)
"We're Almost There" (solo)
"One Day In Your Life" (solo)
"Just A Little Bit Of You" (solo)
"Little Bitty Pretty One"
"Corner Of The Sky"
"Doctor My Eyes"
"Skywriter"
"Get It Together"
"The Boogie Man"
"Whatever You Got, I Want"
"I Am Love"
"Forever Came Today"
"Dreamer"
"Going Places"
"Find Me A Girl"
"Even Though You're Gone"
"Music's Taking Over"
"Destiny"
"You Can't Win" (solo)
"Girlfriend" (solo)

A long list of failures and unfortunately, the small hits The Jacksons did have, really are not all that great. But you flooons think Wacko was shelling out number ones since 1963 when he was five. In reality, Stevie Wonder was the one shelling the hits since the early sixties. The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson early solo, The Jacksons never had a number one album and had more failures than any group in recording industry history.

Jackson , in the 60's , was on the cover of every teen idol magazine, from "Tiger Beat " , "16" , "Spec " , and many others.......He shared these covers with , David Cassidy , BObby Sherman , DOnny Osmond , Leif garrett , and RIck SPringfield ---- all, with the exception of osmond have faded away, michael was a popular teen idol in that period of time and continuing into the early 70's with his solo albums and big hit and movie score ""Ben" and hit singles "Got to be there" and "Rockin Robin ". WITH Jackson 5 cartoons , and variety shows, guest appearances , and memorabilia from posters to lunch boxes, michael could have easily retired in his 20"s. INSTEAD , he went on to influence culture , from sparkly military jackets in the 80's to aviators and fidoras in the 9p's... He broke doen barriers and opened the door to black artists on MTV. HE INTRODUCED THE SHORT FILM , AND INTRODUCED THE MOONWALK, in thw 2000's he set a record for sold out shows at 02 arena.
The seventies. Wacko had no hits in the sixties.

Actually, Herbie Hancock, Musical Youth, Lionel Richie and Prince all were on MTV before Wacko. Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" video was shot like a short film before Wacko made "Bille Jean" Of course, the moonwalk was stolen from a another black artist that danced on film in the thirties. The clown never did anything original. He just took credit from other people's ideas.

Spike Lee's documentary for "Bad 25" was a huge failure.

Why anyone would want to make more POSTIVE Wacko films on his life is strictly laughable. How about one about him molesting boys for twenty five years?

Las Vegas's "Cirque De Sole" productions features remix Wacko with no Michael Jackson involvement. Who knows if it will still be playing in Las Vegas seven years from now like The Beatles "Love" ??? Somehow, I doubt it. It doesn't sell out as often as you floons claim it does.

Albums that failed in the seventies from The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, The Jacksons:

"The Jackson 5 Christmas Album"
"Maybe Tomorrow"
"Going Back To Indiana"
"The Jackson 5 Greatest Hits"
"Got To Be There" (solo)
"Music And Me" (solo)
"Forever Michael" (solo)
"The Best Of Michael Jackson" (solo)
"Skywriter"
"Get It Together"
"Dancing Machine"
"Moving Violation"
"The Jacksons"
"Going Places"
"Destiny"

None of them even got into the top ten and the five that did all failed to hit number one. It is laughable that Wacko called himself the king of pop because he probably holds the all time record for the most failures of any other pop act in the recording industry especially in the seventies. Even "Off The Wall" failed to go number one in 1979. In fact, "Thriller" was his first and the clown was twenty five years old by then.

A massive tribute to Jackson's life, in the form of a Broadway show and films? I wonder how the producers and directors can delicately portray his abuse of children.

Not so ironically, people were more interested in watching the football game than they were in watching a documentary about a dead pedophile.

TO J J Jina wild : The magnitude and fame of jackson was strong in the 60's and prooved to get stronger , bigger and global into the 80,s and 90,s in the 2000's with only 3months to live he sold out 51 shows. No concert promoter books a has been or a no draw for 50 nights at the 02 arena , so dont even go there. Okay, you say hes won of many. ON YOUR MARK GET SET..........START LISTING..........
He was a child star in the 60's, a spotty teenager with a ginormous conk in the 70's, a big hit in the 80's, a lesser hit and a known paedophile by the 90's, a curiosity and confirmed paedophile by the 2000's and dead before he could fulfil any concert obligations.

As for other stars whose success has spanned several decades, there are too many to name but Paul Anka is one of them.
