Black people more likely to be jobless in Britain than US, research reveals

Unemployment for UK black women was at 25%, 26% and 17% in the last three recessions, but 20%, 12% and 13% in the US.

Britain and the world has a long way to go, as seeing a man and woman beyond the color of his skin but by the potential within.
Can you blame it on purely racism or is it a case of a lack of education. We are taught from a young age black is the negative color and white is the positive, unfortunately, there are not many black role models in Europe for the black man to look up to and for the white man to respect. I think the majority of the white population find it hard to relate to a black man and black women are more likely to get employment because they are not seen so much as a threat.

A few years of affirmative action could put that right.

Any UK government should considfer it for a limited period, to give a chance to the black community to break the stereotype circle it is in.

Blacks also need to promote their successful individuals as role models. There is nothing basically wrong with blacks, they just need some image boosting and a fair crack of the whip.

"Honky" has mostly a nice connotation. It's not worse than calling black "blackies", and I take "honky" with humour myself.

Why can't you loosen up a bit?

Depends on the context.

Around friends and on the net I say whatever I want and visa versa.

In professional settings and around the Law people I must respect the Equality Act (2010).

I can't say as I please so nobody else should either.

Someone calls me "gora" "chitta" "honkey" "white mo fo" etc....... then I will pull the race card.
