RAN's know all they need to know about your history. You got caught, they didn't. You are slaves, they are not.

Don't need a whole month for that...

I doubt they would. The Africans I've met, to be honest, aren't at all interested in Black Americans in general (in a racial bonding sense, I mean). In African, the people there don't tend to think of themselves as "African" in the broader sense as the black American community does, they think of themselves in either a national sense (as in Nigerian, Kenyas, etc.) or as belonging to a *specific* African ethnicity (Fula, Zulu, etc.), and region-specific languages. African-specific ethnicity plays a HUGE role in the minds of native Africans, much more so than just "general" African ancestry (even to the point of warfare between the groups because of it, I'm sure you've all heard of Tutsis, and Hutus, and countless stories like that.)Here black people are just all grouped together as "black," but that isn't at all the case in Africa. It's like Europe... people in Germany tend to think of themselves first and foremost as German and then as general Caucasian... it's not like Germans feel an automatic attachment to, say, Italians because they both happen to be Caucasian and live on the same continent.

African Americans would be interested in that kind of information. Actual Africans? Not so much.

Also, you won't create a "bridge between the two countries" because Africa isn't a country. It's an entire continent made up of many countries and many peoples and many ethnicities, as I said.
