They are tearing Rae up on FB and twitter. It's like: "Harpo, who dis woman? and Oprah: "Fine wit me! Before a big fist slams into Squeaks face! lol.

Boy she talked about Oprah like a dog. I think she was high or something. Said some nasty racial things that's embarrassing to us as a race but her in particular. I mean, who is she and who is the other thomasina, Stacy Dash? They're finished. I mean after they've served their purpose, do they honestly think whites who use them are going to help their careers survive?

Not bright, Ms. Chong. You must of been smoking some of Daddy's reefer before that interview.

Remember Cheech and Chong? They were famous for their pot smoking movies? Well she's Chong's daughter. I am not sure of his nationality (Asian or Hispanic) but her mother is black. She starred with Winfrey in the Color Purple as Squeak. Bad blood between them since the movie. Said Winfrey treated her bad but that's like 20 years ago? Claims Winfrey is jealous of more attractive women and 60 years ago she wouldn't be famous or rich. She'd be a housekeeper and then changed it to, no, she'd been a field N, not a house N. Nasty and uncalled for.

Funny thing though, they recently had a Color Purple reunion and she appeared on it and there seems to had been no problems. Envy? Jealousy? Who knows.

IDK how she can be racist if she's simple enough to think she would have been a house N, or bedwarmer, lol. She's half black so it's like demeaning yourself or your mother, the loon. I think she was high when she did that interview and they just let her run off at the mouth. Bet she regrets it, but how can you apologize for the stuff she said? You just can't. That mess was from the heart!

Hahahaha, She said that she doesn't regret what she said, so I don't think she was high. This b*tch isn't even African American she is Canadian. It's funny cause she is mixed with like Five other different races and she still look black. She was looked black enough to be cast as a black woman in The Color Purple, but I guess she ain't black enough to not be a racist.

Well, all I can say is she ain't no spring chicken here. Oprah has a lot of power and prestige here (and here is where the money is) so she's finished. Same as Stacy Dash. I wonder what makes them loose their minds when they get old (and can't get the roles they used too) and start talking trash? Dumb move. I guess she could be a racist or a self-hater. I take the latter considering the comments she made. She's really stupid.

What's her father's race? I was never sure. Is her mother black or white? I heard she was black, not sure now.

You don't actually believe that being black will prevent you from being racist??? Just look around this forum...

As for criticizing Oprah, I could nitpick everything Oprah's said or done, but overall one cannot avoid the conclusion that Oprah has had a hell of a lot of good influence on this society. And she is one of those people who's made a difference in the area of inter-ethnic relations. And she encourages reading! And she brings up black issues without scaring all the white people. And on and on...

Overall at least in her public persona Oprah is nowhere near as radical as me, but nonetheless I say she's a national treasure.

Rae Dawn Chong? Loved her in “Quest for Fire”(of course! She was naked!).

I think Oprah is a bigger person than that. She is way more powerful and influential in this society than Rae. You really should watch what you say, it could backfire on you hard.

Her mother is black and Cherokee and her father is Chinese, Scot-Irish, and French. Her father played on That 70s Show.

I notice you only respond to the comments posted by black people, but rarely do you ever post to the white racist. You have so little to say about all the racist things whites spew on here to African Americans, but are ready to jump on African Americans for saying some offensive things to white people. What is your problem? Why do you so often over look white racism, but yet are so quick to talk about a black person being racist? That to me is racist in itself.

I'm not talking about Oprah, Carmiana. I am talking about Rae. I agree with you. Big mistake messing with Oprah. It's akin to cutting one owns throat. Not to mention, when you go all out on someone like that, be it another co-star, producer, etc., the others who might hire you would think you'd dog them out too if things didn't go your way. She's done.

Thanks! For some reason, I always thought he was Mexican or Hispanic but the name "Chong" threw me off. Interesting mix but the black clearly won the battle, lol.

The 1st time I saw Beat Street I determined that she would be my wife.
