Seeds are planted. And black women will not take their daughters to see a black prince disney movie told from a black point of view and pick a white princess,with all kinds of sistas in the film onlooking.

And they won't go take their daughters to see a white princess movie, in which she picks a black prince told from a white point of view.

But she will take her sons to a sista pick a white prince from any point of view, Or a white prince pick a black princess from a white pointof view.

Exactly ain't no boys running to see some romantic cartoon this is silly. They are the ones saying don't take your daughters to see this movie but they would take the sons to this one. The answer is yes if it was like Tiana I want to see the movie not only because she is the first black princess but also because of the New Orleans graphics great to have the first princess there.

No, I could ask my little cousins boys at that they wouldn't like it because their sports and actions type of boys. My little cousins don't stay still everytime we watch a movie their not worried about cartoons they are more on the masculine side. Little boys are grossed out by girls at those times it's the coodies stage I've been around my little cousins since they were small. I know them their not into love stories or prince/princesses that's a feminine thing to them and to society they say eww when people kiss. Or laugh because their kids. They would prefer baseball/basketball, or my wii game which they play a lot.

all I know from ages of pre school,to 4th grade they will like animated movies. Now he older a boy gets he changes but when those disney movies come out kindergardeners,to 3rd graders are in there havin a time of their life.

Kids learn racism. And movies like this will expose them to it.

For instance kids will notice colors,or the absent of colors.

Social learning begins around 7.

you get your emotions invloved in seeing this. This ain't a love stroy for kids. It's a childs cartoon. Kids going for the animation. The older you get the more you analize and pick it apart.

No, I wouldn't take my son(if I had a black son) to see a black prince choosing a white woman to be he his princess because if he is 5 or older, he would have already have seen dozens of black men getting with white women and I don't feel he needs to see this glorified in an animated movie. However I would take my son to see the Princess and the frog because he needs to realize that black woman also have the choice to date and marry outside their race. That black women are not bounded by the AA community to be with black men nor have to have more loyality to black men than they have to black women.
