Henke Pistorius, father of Oscar Pistorius, is accusing the South African government of being racist when it comes to White people.
Oh No! Do you think they will finally understand how racism feels now that the tables have turned???

With his "Blade Runner" son free on bail since shooting his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, Henke is fed up with the lack of protection given to White people in the predominately Black country.
Interviewed by the UK's Daily Telegraph Sunday (March 3), Henke said that his son's gun collection was a safety precaution. "You can't rely on the police, not because they are inefficient always but because crime is so rife," Henke said.
With one of the highest violent crime rates in the world, 15,000 people in South Africa were murdered last year, under the leadership of the African Natural Congress. "It speaks to the ANC government, look at white crime levels, why protection is so poor in this country, it's an aspect of our society."
Henke, his father, and three brothers collectively own 55 guns. Oscar has purchased at least six firearms, one of which he used to shoot Steenkamp, allegedly believing that she was an intruder. He's never said that being a minority added to his fears, but the notion isn't far-fetched.
However, according to the ANC, claims of racism against Whites are false. "Not only is this statement devoid of truth, it is also racist," said ANC spokesman, Jackson Mthembu. "It is sad that he has chosen to politicize a tragic incident that is still fresh in the minds of those affected and the public."
Oscar also doesn't agree with his father. His representatives released a statement distancing him from the controversial claims. "The comments doesn't represent the views of Oscar or the rest of the Pistorius family. We are acutely aware of the fact that we are only at the beginning of a long road to prove that what happened to Reeva Steenkamp was a terrible accident and that Oscar never intended to harm her, let alone cause her death."
According to the latests statistics, White people make up for less than 10 percent of the South African population, while Black Africans make up for 79 percent of the population.

The Killing Of Whites In South
Africa...And America's Silence

The murder and eviction of whites in Zimbabwe has been commented on in the news but in Zimbabwe's southern neighbor, south Africa, whites are being slaughtered at an even higher rate.

South Africa has three times the population of Zimbabwe, and 13 times the White population: almost 6 million Whites live there. As with Zimbabwe, the media silence about the murder of Whites there is almost total; and in South Africa's case, even human rights groups are largely silent, perhaps because the Black takeover there was so recent and so many "liberals" have an emotional investment in the ANC/Communist regime they helped to power.

In 1994, after decades of propaganda in the media and sentimental whimpering from the churches, South African Whites were finally persuaded to hand power over to Black Communists, who installed an ANC ("African National Congress")/Communist government that, for some strange reason, failed to follow Marxist ideology when it came to expropriating the business interests of the Oppenheimer family, who dominate South Africa's economy. They did succeed, however, in making South Africa into a multiracial sewer with one of the highest violent crime, murder, rape, and AIDS infection rates in the world. The media made a saint of Nelson Mandela, a convicted terrorist who had been imprisoned by the White government there, and when the Whites capitulated he was made President.

After the media's announcement that their long campaign of sanctions, boycotts, and intimidation had finally succeeded in bringing "equality" and "democracy" to what had previously been one of the few outposts of White civilization on the African continent, the media coverage of that country almost ceased, and one seldom hears about South Africa today in the mass media. The reason is that South Africa is rapidly descending into crime, disease, filth, and savagery.

Since the Black takeover in 1994, 1,368 White farmers have been murdered in farm invasions and attacks that number in the multiple thousands. More than half of the White farmers have given up and left their farms permanently, contributing to the region's looming famine. And yet this is not an issue in the Jewish media. South African farmers now suffer the highest murder rate in the world -- 274 per 100,000. In a study commissioned by a leading South African bank, Nedbank, it was revealed that the Black attackers are

"'deliberately targeting specific homesteads to kill the [White] Afrikaner victims': robbery was not the prime motivation, in fact in 85% of last year's farm attacks, nothing had been 'robbed.'"

In other words, killing the White man, raping and killing the White woman, raping and killing the White child are the real motivations. And yet this is not an issue in the American media.

I really do think you "generous" white folk need to take care of your own. On a recent visit to a poor white community I was reminded that the evangelical church and the US government doesn't give a rip about poor whites. I was in a town, Scottville, Mich., of mostly poor whites and felt heavy by what I saw. Most of the families there are on welfare. For example, about 90% of the kids get free or reduced lunch at school. Teen suicide is a regular occurence (much like the poor whites of Boston). I'm beginning to get suspicious of churches claiming to have "compassion for the poor" but you have to be a poor minority in order to receive help.

According to the last census there are about 15.3 million poor whites in America. What's the evangelical church doing? As far as I know nothing really.(The black population has about 8.1 million below the poverty line). With the total number of Americans below the poverty line at around 33 million this means that nearly half of the poor people in America are WHITE!! If nearly half of America's poor are white what's up with all the "minority" and "urban" stuff churches do? Can anyone explain this?

YES...I can explain it. No one does any thing for you poor white folk because ...well you see, you white folk are so busy denying that you even receive welfare, so busy trying to convince everyone that you all are little "goodie two shoe missionaries" out to save the world, so busy living a lie that you can't admit the truth.

Now who was it that was boasting about how great the black man is doing because of "White" influence??? You see how ridiculous you sound now? Go help your own dam people and put your focus there instead of on Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta. You don't hear us crying about it. For centuries, African Americans have struggled in society and even to survive in the United States, even when there is no crisis. The New Deal and the Depression combined to make life harder for African Americans, but also solved some problems and paved the way to integration in other ways.

Overall, the African Americans' unemployment rates were twice as bad as the common white men's unemployment rates. However, African Americans in the south were dealing with completely different things than those that lived in the north. Northern abiding African Americans were not hired often because jobs were saved for the whites, and they were the first ones fir

ed during the beginning of the crisis. In the south, African Americans still worked as sharecroppers and house servants, due to the Jim Crow Laws that held them back. Since there were so many without jobs, blacks and whites became desperately longing for the same jobs. This escalated discrimination all over the country.

As discrimination spread through the common people, it also occurred in the government. The New Deal was mainly hurtful to African Americans by offering whites the first pick of jobs, and saving jobs for blacks that had lower pay and were segregated. Also, the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) didn't offer mortgage to blacks who tried to purchase a home in a mainly white neighborhood. Simply put, the government was more focused on giving jobs to whites. The Social Security Act of the New Deal banned jobs from blacks that they normally held, since whites were so desperate for any type of work. Most of these acts were taking place in the north. Southern blacks were being forced off their sharecropped land due to the Agricultural Adjustment Administration. By keeping their land unplowed, white landlords made more money, so sharecroppers were not needed and forced off the land.(To learn more about the Agricultural Adjustment Administration, see Farm Programs). 100,000 blacks were forced from the land in the early 1930s. The African Americans did advance in government in some ways, however. A black teacher, Mary McLeod Bethune, was added to the advisory committee of the Nation Youth Administration, giving education for black children a boost. A few blacks were also appointed as advisers on the black affairs part of the New Deal. Although African Americans were being treated the same way they have also been, they were also breaking new ground.

The African Americans had much faith in Franklin D. Roosevelt; they hoped he could bring them out of poverty for good. Many blacks had been Republicans for Abraham Lincoln, but 75% of them shifted to the Democrat party because they believed Roosevelt's new ideas could help them. Unfortunately for them, the New Deal was not used to get rid of discrimination, it was often a big part of the New Deal. This was because Roosevelt's movements needed to be approved by Southern Democrats, who were the seniority in Congress. However, Roosevelt's wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, did stand for civil rights. It is safe to say the Great Depression started a new beginning for the African Americans.

To create this year's list, Essence asked more than 60 business insiders -- headhunters, human resources representatives, research firms and nonprofit organizations -- to nominate companies with solid reputations for hiring, retaining, supporting and promoting Black women.(Unlike other lists that rely on a question-and-answer survey in which companies can respond with what they want you to know, we created our methodology based on discussions with those in the know.) We then conducted additional research to find exceptional programs and policies within these organizations that cater specifically to our needs. We also contacted the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to find out if those being considered are indeed practicing what they preach. Finally, we scoured the staff of some great companies to find Black women who are succeeding at all levels.
Here are the findings (* Companies listed alphabetically):
1. Aetna, Inc., Hartford
What makes it great: There are strong employee networks at this health-care benefits company, with plenty of opportunities for Black women to meet others. It also has programs that give midlevel employees of color leadership development training for future top spots.
2. Citigroup, New York
What makes it great: Citigroup has solid employee-led affinity networks and high-placed Black women. Ann Dibble Jordan sits on the board of directors, and Leah Johnson, senior vice-president, global corporate affairs, and the highest-ranking Black woman in the company, sits on its exclusive operating and management committees. Citigroup also has 15 other Black women among its senior management ranks.
3. The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta
What makes it great: One way the soft drink giant levels the playing field for African-Americans is by creating partnerships with groups like the National Black MBA Association in its search for capable and experienced employees.
4. Colgate-Palmolive Co., New York
What makes it great: It's inspiring to see women such as Marsha E. Butler, D.D.S., senior executive and vice-president of global oral health and professional relations, in the corporate office. She and Colgate-Palmolive work with the National Dental Association to improve oral health in our communities.
5. Comcast, Philadelphia
What makes it great: Black women are represented throughout the company, starting with Charrisse Lillie, vice-president, human resources, and senior vice-president, Comcast Cable. And people of color make up 40 percent of the staff at this cable giant, thanks to recruiting efforts with organizations like the National Association of Minorities in Communications and its five-year commitment to provide summer and then permanent jobs to inner-city youth through the Emma L. Bowen Foundation.
6. Federated Department Stores, Cincinnati
What makes it great: Black women represent 16.3 percent of Federated's workforce at all levels. The retail giant also supports leadership development and has worked with organizations such as the National Council of Negro Women and Spelman College.
7. Genentech, Inc., South San Francisco
What makes it great: This biotechnology company has incorporated cultural values into its mission statement and created a Diversity in Action (DNA) 3-Point plan to recruit diverse talent and sponsor the Genentech Scholars program. What makes it great: Upward mobility. This technology giant has four Black women as vice-presidents. "The presence of women of color is significantly different here from most companies I have worked with," says one of our expert nominators.
10. IBM, Armonk, NY
What makes it great: Black executives have increased 121 percent at this computer giant since 1995. Four members of its worldwide management council and 14 members of the senior leadership team are Black.
11. Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, NJ
What makes it great: "I can tell you without hesitation that the company is doing some of the most significant work out there with regards to advancing the interests of African-American women," says Joe Watson. A management consultant and author of Without Excuses: Unleash the Power of Diversity to Build Your Business (St. Martin's Press), Watson nominated the consumer products giant.12. Kraft Foods, Northfield, IL
What makes it great: In 2005 Kraft gave grants to 18 organizations specifically serving our communities and forged a new partnership with the Black Women's Health Imperative to address the health and nutrition needs of Black women.The company has both formal and informal mentoring programs, so there's a lot to inspire Black women.
13. Marriott International, Washington, DC
What makes it great: The next time you decide to stay at a Marriott, Ritz-Carlton or Renaissance hotel, sleep well knowing that 60 percent of Marriott International's associates are minorities and 54 percent are women, while 27 percent of management are minorities and 48 percent are women. Eighteen years ago, this was one of the first lodging companies to establish a diversity program, and since then it has been presented with the Champion Award by the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers, a group that was organized to increase the number of properties owned and operated by African-Americans.14. What makes it great: With programs like the Black Career Development seminars at Hamburger University, it touts more training for women and minorities than most other firms.
15. Merrill Lynch, New York
What makes it great: "Merrill has a growing and commendable record of developing African-American women," says Joann Stevens of The Executive Leadership Council, which nominated the brokerage giant. Merrill also allows for individuality. "We see women wearing hairstyles from buzz cuts to twists and braids, and business attire with ethnic accents," Stevens says.
16. Morgan Stanley, New York
What makes it great: Morgan Stanley has established itself as a global heavyweight in the financial services business, using its reputation to sponsor and participate in more than 50 events to recruit people of color including the Columbia Black Business Student Association Conference and the Harvard African-American Student Union Career Conference.

17. MTV Networks, New York
What makes it great: MTV has created an internal advisory team to advance diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion. The company's first executive vice-president of global inclusion strategy, Marva Smalls, and the MTVN Diversity Council help the advisory team develop strategies to advance diversity. With African-Americans like Christina Norman, president of MTV Networks, and Smalls on board, things are changing for Black women here.
18. Nike, Beaverton, OR
What makes it great: The sporting goods manufacturer initiated the Global Diversity Executive Council and the Global Women's Leadership Council. To create a workable plan execs went straight to the employees. A survey revealed that Nike staffers joined the company because of opportunities for personal development and advancement. "Having African-Americans in meaningful positions can be a good first step toward making things happen," says Boyce Watkins, assistant finance professor at Syracuse University.
19. PepsiCo, Purchase, NY
What makes it great: In the aftermath of a huge race discrimination lawsuit, Pepsi now receives praise as one of the top places for women and minorities to work. To do so, Pepsi got a serious plan: hiring executives solely dedicated to managing diversity in its operating divisions; setting recruitment and retention goals to be met each year; and establishing an external board to advise senior management on ways to make Pepsi more inclusive of employees of color.20. What makes it great: Black females are in key positions and have a voice. "A number of high-ranking Black female managers were instrumental in making sure budgets were increased for African-American marketing," says Pepper Miller, president of the Hunter-Miller Group, a Black-owned strategic market research, planning and consulting firm specializing in urban consumers, who nominated P & G.
21. Prudential Financial, Newark, NJ
What makes it great: "Prudential has a strong track record of promoting African American women and placing then in key leadership positions and working with Black-female–owned companies," says Linda Spradley Dunn, president and chief executive officer of Idamar Marketing and Communications, who nominated Prudential for this list.
