There is one main difference between Father PFLEGER and John Brown. John Brown wasn't against the use of guns for self-defense while PFLEGER is against anyone posessing firearms unless your the police and military.

The thing that farrakhan and PFLEGER have in common is gun control.

Society and the media does not want to have open discussions on the division of race in this country. Fr.Pfleger may be against firearms in private hands, but that does not prevent his advocating homicide. At a demonstration trying to shut down a legal firearms dealer he called on the crowd to "snuff out" the dealer by name, in addition to other violent remarks. He was rebuked by his Bishop for urging the killing, but the state took no action against him for an obvious effort to incite the crowd to violence. There is no evidence of any apology to the victim of his hate speech.
