Well he isn't a friend but a guy I communicate with through Twitter swears that slavery was revenge against the Moors. This fool claims that it was the mullatto offsprings of Moorish men who instigated slavery againbst his black kids. He claims but not in his exact words that the black Moors returnd to West Africa with riches and gave tehir money to their black kids. He then go on to say that their m
biracial kids and their white grand kids vowed revenge for their blackfathers abandoning them. This fool swears that the first couple of Presidents where angry quadroons. This gave me a good laugh but I thought his theory was rather interesting.

That Twitter friend of yours is nothing more than paranoid. That isn't true and really if you think about it, it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever for the Moors to do so and take that approach when it was the blackest of the black West Africans who built entire empires (not kidding) on the backs of their own Africans they have enslaved and sold to Arabs and sold to some Europeans. Blacks have played a huge role in slavery, more so than people think. Whites only get the brunt of it because we still treated blacks the same as when they were slaves even after we abolished it. There is no such as revenge. Slavery from every corner of the world was due to profit, nothing more than that. It was based on pure profit, benefiting from the work of the most physically strongest people to build wealth for the greedy and empires for those who wanted power. Power and wealth were the only key factors back then. There was no revenge to be sought by the Moors. Your friend is being silly lol.

The only reason I entertain his version is because I don't believe that whites could do those things to strange people. I do believe that African and whites already had relationships. And yes Africans are always harming their own people.

I have also heard similar claims from black Israelites who claimed that everybody from shakespeare to Bethoven were lightskin moors. I just don't see any reason to accept the one version of slavery when there could be other reasons for that event.

Yes, this theory is silly. Back then nobody thought about slavery in racial terms, since both whites and black were slaved a'plenty.

There is a case to be made that the behavior of the Spanish as they conquered the last Moors in Iberia (Granada, 1492) and then sailed on to continue conquering elsewhere, beginning in the same year, that they were greatly influenced by the behavior of the Moors which they'd observed for centuries.

In their slaving and conquering faroff lands, the behavior of the Spanish was more like that of the Muslims than of the Roman Empire, cultural elements of which are also discernible among the Medieval Spanish.

If the Spanish had been acting out of revenge against the Moors, they'd have enslaved mostly non-black Berbers from the Maghreb, which is who most of the Moors in Iberia were.

They could be said to have had they revenge when the French and Spanish made North African kingdoms into they colonies. Spain still owns parts of North Africa.

The Muz world owes massive reparations to India, SE Asia, Africa, the Mideast, the Maghreb and Europe for its assorted depredations and crimes against humanity.

Muz are owed nothing.

Maybe that wasn't enough revenge for them.
