Well,...The I work for good white folk stuff was a bit tacky--whatever. I have other things to worry about.

As far as only black students being enrolled in Oprah's school, I don't have a problem with it. If she wants to open her school to educate black students then that's her prerogative. Everyone should just stop with the constant allegations or insinuations of racism. Also, considering the oppression that blacks suffered through under apartheid, apparently Oprah's is doing some affirmative action of her own.

Because her show us to cut into my cartoon time. It came on at 4:00 p.m. & that was right smack DAP into my 3:00-to-5:00 cartoon time.
DON'T CUT INTO A TODDLERS CARTOON TIME!!
But now, I dislike her because she never but REAL stuggling people on her show.(I.E. people on welfare, food stamps, & is living in bad parts of the USA) Only minium-wage & near-rich people.
I notice, people i disliked when i was a toddler, i know have a REAL reason to dislike now.

Do you think the comment Oprah made about "good whites folks working" for her was racist?

Well I would have to hear the entire conversation, that could have been taken out of context.

And I'm not just saying that because it's Oprah, I'm not really a big fan of hers.

Blacks are racist? Whites are racist? Asserting either of these is RACIST!!!

Try judging people as individuals. Oprah sure seems to do that. I see her presenting plenty of "good white folks" on her show along with lots of good black folks. That is they way we should all be.

Racism is so stupid. Damn, I'm sick of it. Grow up, America!

I don't think what she said is necessarily racist, but it's obvious that she has a sense of satisfaction knowing that the shoe is on the other foot so to speak. I don't think Oprah looks down upon those white people that work for her (?), I think she was simply saying that now the tables have turned. But again, her comments were tacky.

From the stories I have heard, Oprah treats her employees - blacks and whites alike, very well. That's better than I can say for whites employeers, who treat their none white employees, like crap.

I hear so many blacks say that they don't like Oprah - I think it's because, they hate that she is so successful. I don't hear anyone saying that they don't like rappers, but when it comes to Oprah, black people seem to have the most problem with her. Haters if you ask me.

Did anybody notice how they cut into that conversation? Taking a small part of what she and gail said? How about the point they made all of a sudden about black kids in her school? They didn't care before...now that she might have an impact on Mr. Senator Obama's share of the vote, they want to alienate her from her fanbase. Pure politics. What do you guys think?

Yes I did and that's exactly why I said I need to hear the whole conversation. It could be that someone is trying to make something out of nothing.

Well I guess those people have their reasons. I've heard many blacks say they don't like certain rappers.

People have the right not to like her, I guess it's how a person appears to another. She is a person like anyone else and subject to be thought of like anyone else.

I am not a big fan, I can take it or leave it. The only time I watch her show is if there is a topic that interests me. Some of her topics bore me, it has nothing to do with her as a person.

Just liek some people don't like Paris Hilton, I don't think it's because they're jealous, lets face it she is obnoxious. Especially before she went to jail.
