If you used entire homicide levels Canada would be closer. If you only included White Americans vs White Americans it would be about equal it seems.

I never said that all violent crime was gun related, nor that banning guns would eliminate violent crime because obviously it won't, violence is part of society and always will be because people are naturally violent, there are separate issues for the rise in knife related crime. But eliminating easy access to quick firing or automatic weapons goes a long way to eliminating the threat of pointless massacres where dozens of people are killed by an an inadequate individual with 'personal issues'.
