I won't say black men have "lost interest" in black women as you put it. Black men have always lusted after non black women because these women for centuries were off limits to black men. Its almost like the lure of the forbidden fruit.

However, now white women and other nationalities of women are simply more accessible. Many black men have fed into America's image of beauty which is anything light, bright and if you're "lucky" full blown white. They don't realize that by mating over and over with these kinds of women they are endangering their own race and many probably do not care.

It's almost like the white man has conditionally brainwashed black men to "hate themselves" and anything in their image.

The white race has worked hard to establish their "standard of beauty" all over the world. They have even made Arab men long for white, blonde haired, blue eyed women and largely negate their own. White beauty has been established in the mind of all men worldwide as the epitome of beauty.

This is wrong, but this is what is happening.

I think there is a big misunderstanding with the defination of "knowing how to treat a man".

Many black women "know how to treat a man" but the men usually leave them with nothing. Black men jump ship too quick. Like my african friend stated to me "The american black men don't stay with one woman long; they get another and another". Many people of different races see this. Black women HAVE to be independant and aggressive if you look at the stats.

White men are usually a little different. They don't really leave their women with nothing like so many black men do.

Black women would like to cook for their man and do for him too, but when he won't work and when he is abusive and is a chronic cheat and in and out of jail - what choice do they have???

I wouldn't say that black women want to BE a man, but I feel as though some black women have forgotten their position. In so many AA home the woman is the head of the house, not by choice but by force. The black man is either physically missing, or he has not idea how to be a real man, and doesn't care either.

I also think that some black women are less feminine--acting than white women, that is just my opinion of course.

I do not think that white people have intentionally worked hard to establish their IDEA of beauty. It is that they are the leading POWER, and people once strived to be just like them. Looking "white" meant for a person to possibly have the same POWER or PRIVElAGE as whites or people w/lighter skin tones. I know that in some parts of the world, people who had darker skin tones were the ones that worked outside, vs the ones who did not have to be in contact w/the sun as much and were lighter-and this was considered more beautiful, then mix that w/whites having power and influence and you have the mess called colorism that there is today.

What brainwashing? Black women go around demanding crap like they are owed something. Talking all "I'm a queen" this and "you better respect me because I'm a strong black woman" that, no man period wants to hear that crap! It's a huge turn off. If your a strong woman fine, be a strong woman, you don't have to wave a flag and carry a bullhorn to prove it. But I'm waiting for black women to start acting like women for a change so they can turn me on again.

My problem with black women is they are either they are either too "hood", too stuck up, too militant or too screwed up in the head. So I cant have normal relationship with a black woman. With white women they don't give me no problems, no hassles. I see them when I see them and they go home when it is time to go home. No muss, no fuss.

My dating white chicks is not a political statement. I simply date white chicks because they are MUCH lower maintenance than black women. Black women are totally screwed up in the head (at least all the ones I dated) they have too much baggage and mental hang ups and insecurities. White woman have insecurities to, but they don't take them out on their men like black women do. And black women are waaaaay too materialistic, it wouldn't matter if I told a chick I was a brain surgeon, she wouldn't ask me about my work, she wouldn't ask me about my life or education, her very next question would be "what kind of car do you drive" or "wow, you must make a lot of money". When I tell chicks of other races what I do (and I am not a brain surgeon) they ask me about my work or about me, they may think about my money, but they don't ask about it.

Please that was a horrible excuse i ain't going to date no white woman but you are using that abusive , chronic cheater and in and out of jail as an excuse as if every black woman is dating those type of men.

But remember the title of your thread is about why black men inter racially date so unless you are saying those type black men are dating white women too then you can't excuse a woman for trying to run a man.

I have and some of my friends have experienced a woman trying to control us as if we were their son 's and not their boyfriends maybe since we are young and dealing with young girls thats the reason but i have experienced it.
