The History on West African Kingdoms were mostly recoded by Arabic writers. So we're NOT going to learn much about them from Western Historians. Western scholars claim West Africans NEVER created a written language & thus their Ancient Histories cannot be taught. We have to look too Arabic scholars to learn more in depth History on West Africa since they were Islamic societies. The African manuscripts whom Islamic extremists tried to burn very recently would be a great source.

Wrong, racist culture-vulture Afronazi rat.
The Olmecs were Native Americans, 100%. They originated in soconusco. This is proven by archaeological evidence about which your stupid ass knows nothing.
The Maghreb has been predominately Eurasian for 30,000 years. This is also proven by solid evidence.
The Hebrews were as today: Semitic Mideasterners of Y-type J.
Yes, Afronazis in here have claimed the Vikings, as well as the Celts.
Get your grubby greasy racist Afronazi paws off other peoples' histories and identities.
You have NEVER answered my question. Why is that Eurasians have NOT adapted to their tropical environments after 30,000 years while claiming Modern Europeans are due to adaption?? You guys claim early Europeans were already light when they 1st reached European & remain so due to climate.

The history has been "recorded" orally by West African griots and whatnot, but as far as written sources, Europeans would also be included in there along with Arabs, since they, too, documented the histories of West Africa, although moreso along the coast than the interior.

If by Western you mean European, then you're mistaken. Western African historians typically use Arab sources for their histories. I know this because most of my knowledge about Africa comes from Western Historians.

Which scholars are you talking about? The ones from the 1920's?

There are plenty of MODERN Western scholars on African history that one can look to for credible information on West African history.

One great source is Basil Davidson. I thoroughly enjoy reading his material.

He's as about as "anti Eurocentric" as one could get without being Afrocentric or non-credible.

Timbuktu doesn't detail even close to all of West African history.

Are somehow lacking access to decent information about West African historical literature?

Because I would be glad to recommend some good choices for you to further your research.

He's an idiot.

According to his logic the moment OOA migrants left Africa they becamwe Eurasian but even after over 30,000 years of Asia-Africa back migrants came into Africa and mixed with local Africans they're still ''Eurasians''.

The guy is simple a desperate eurocentric trying to claim North & East African populations.

West African griots & Arabic writing are much more ancient tho. Western scholars will eventually have to look into African manuscripts since they date back to the 13th Century.

In my link I know it state 14th Century but many recordings actually go back too the 13th Century during Mansa Musa reign. The History doing his reign is said to be strictly oral & tho I believe they are accurate, many scholars usually don't view oral History as credible as written.

I agree with this, although, more are starting to see its significance.

Records in West Africa would have gone as far back as the Ghana Empire.

The capitol of Ghana, Koumbi Saleh, had a large Muslim community, and they had their own schools and, of course, writing.

Muslims were used in administration, and while, I cannot get an exact physical description of these Muslims, I would assume them to be Black, at least most of them, because of where Koumbi Saleh is (in southern Mauretania).

Also, even though Ghana wasn't a Muslim Kingdom, Tekrur, which was contemporaneous with Ghana, had accepted Islam at this early time. They were probably also used as administration, although, even here, I haven't come across any records for myself. Just outside sources like Al Bakri.

Most info on The Ghana Empire I've run across is very brief since they too supposedly lacked a written language. If their Empire wasn't Islamic, I wonder if their History is recorded on Christian manuscripts that are said to date back even further than Arabic recordings. I would also believe The Ghana Empire was as wealthy as The Mali since they also used the same gold nuggets that made Mali Kings very wealthy.

The Ghana Kings were Black Africans. Their linages were traced too West Africans, I believe The Akans who were the earliest PPL handling gold nuggets.

No, Mali was much wealthier than Ghana with a stronger and tighter administration. They also, in addition to gold, would have had money coming in from trade taxation, which, because of them having control over more trade routes, would have garnered them more wealth from these trades than did Ghana.

I'm not sure what would make you mention Christian manuscripts. Most of their now known history was recorded by Muslims, the most notablely being people like Al Bakri.

I know their kings were Black, but I'm referring to their Muslim administrators. I'm pretty sure they were Black too though, based on the fact that Mauritania is majority Black, and Southern Mauritania is especially Black.

Because my link stated Christian manuscripts in Africa dated back to the 6th Century onto the 12th.
