Hey Anna. It's rather obvious as to why you will never see Kenya Moore on the front cover of beauty magazines. Because she is dark and beautiful. You know how white male owned Hollywood have a strict policy on black women. They have to be light skinned or conform to their Eurocentric standards of beauty in order to be accepted into Hollywood. Not only that, but they are just intimidated by beautiful black women regardless of the skin shade and lord knows they will never let a black women outshine their mutant inbred albino women they consider beautiful.
HEeeeeeeeeere we go!!!!!

"It's all the whitemans fault that she is on the cover"....

Mack, this is a teen telling you to gain a little maturity. You really need to relax more. No, it's not white peoples fault. Maybe when she does something to end up in the tabloid she will end up on a magazine. That's how he other ones do it, right??? Do something stupid, get all media attention. Or maybe when she starves heself she will end up on it. Who knows...

But Mack is speaking the truth if you don't believe him just check out Maxim Hot 100 List of 2007 - explain to me that out of 100 women, only 6 black women made the list and tell me how in the world did Lindsey Lohan make it to number one, while Beyonce is at number 16 I think. Let's face it, this world is white owned and white operated and blacks must conform if they are going to get even a fraction of what their white counterparts have.

It hurts me to think that way - even Beyonce with all the fame and money she has, still has to compete with her white counterparts. Let's face it, blacks - no matter how light or dark they are, will never be accepted fully by whites - it's that simple.

Beautiful dark skinned black women like Kenya Moore aren't showcased because if they were it would become obvious that there is nothing on earth more beautiful than a gorgeous dark-skinned black woman. The only way to perpetuate the lie of white female superiority in terms of beauty is to continuously showcase white women and light-skinned black women, as if to say that is only way a black woman can be beautiful is if she is light. When people see a beautiful dark skinned sista like Kenya, it undermines all that.

Why isnt Elise Neal and many other superstars. Why ask why?

6 black women is a good representation seeing that about how much of the population black women make up. Its a white magazine anyway so dont sweat it.

Why are black women so obsessed with how white men view them?

I wouldn't say never, but the temperature in hell would go down a few degrees before darker skinned women will be accepted.

Kenya Moore is drop dead gorgeous in my book!!! If you know her, tell her I said so LOL.

Except Diana Ross and Whoopi Goldberg other than that, I can not think of a Dark Skinned black woman who the media pushes out there like Beyonce, Halle or Rihanna.

Kenya looks like a goddess in that pictures - God she is beautiful - she looks better than that damn Pamela Anderson chick - I am so sick and tired of seeing her fake boobs hanging everywhere. White america could not handle a beautiful black women such as Kenya Moore herself - they would feel to intimidated by her beauty and education. Although I love Beyonce, whites do not find her threatening - her looks are in line with white women so they accept her looks first, and then her talent comes last. I still love Bey though - even if she is the only black women that the media praises. But Kenya Moore - absoulty gorgeous not questions asked.

You are so right - white america has to keep that lie going about white women being the epitome of beauty. Can you just imagine that hate Kenya Moore would receive it the media started praising her and placing her on the cover of all the mainstream magazine covers? They would hate on her more than they do Beyonce - they wouldnt' be able to relate to Kenya Moore. I am not saying that white women are not good looking, but to try and convince the whole darn world (they (whites) have already done this sadly enough) that white is right shows that it is jealously on the part of whites. Why do they try so darn hard to keep up this lie??? And people (black included) fall for this crap.

I never once stated that black women were obsessed with how white men view them - it's funny, because if a white women had made the comment I did - you probaly would have turned in her favor, but you assume that whenever a black woman questions the motives of whites, she must be jealous. WRONG - not ever black woman is jealous of white women - we are just tired of playing second fiddles in this society, we are tired of having our image flawed by rappers and the white owned media. If whites wanted to, they could present a good reputation of a black women who is not trying to look like them, but they don't, because like one poster stated, they must keep put this notion that white women are the epitome of beauty.

Kenya Moore is no where near being light skinned or brown skinned for that matter. She is a dark skinned black beautiful sister.

Right - if whites do not want to be looked upon as being racist and unfair to none whites, then they need to get their act together. Every single day, whites are looking for new ways to tamper with the self esteem of black and black women in general, by constantly comparing us against white women in an unfair way. Any white woman would be threaten by Kenya Moore's beauty - they would rather stand next to beautiful Beyonce because, in their minds she is someone identcial to them as it relates to her light skin and light hair.

You forgot brown skinned women like Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Brandy, and a dark-skinned sista Lauryn Hill who are VERY well known in pop culture, ans they are not high yellow.

Right. And white people wonder why people of color don't like them. It's because of ish like this; conspiring to inferiorize black people in any way possible. Them doing this to us only proves that they are 100% insecure and envious us blacks. It's obvious that a white woman is threatened by a medium or dark skinned sistas beauty since they cannot achieve that natural look and sexy curves black women have, so like you say, they would see a light skinned sista as less threatening like Beyonce since she has light skin and long hair. It's so pathetic and it seems to me that this reinforces the stereotype that white women have low self esteem in regards to their beauty, and the only way to boost their ego is to compare them positively in negative contrast to black women in terms of their beauty. So sad and pathetic...

Thank you Anna. It's pathological how white people are intimidated by the truth whenever we expose them. It's all about logic, I ask to them to use to also back up my claims. Black women shouldn't have to waste their time trying to be accepted by whites since they have no chance in hell of that ever happening to them, since white is right and black needs to stay back in the white mans world.

Right, and besides, why should we care anyway? It's not like we desperately yearn to be accepted by them. Some of us blacks do but a vast majority of us don't. Black women are just literally wasting their time doing this and should just stick to spot lighting the black entertainment industry since she is welcomed by her fellow black brothas and sistas.
