Yes. It's a new problem that didn't occur with gerbils I heard. Sugar gilders, being marsupials, generate a lot of noxious flammable gases when under stress such as being shoved up the old poop shoot. Speeding up the Hershey highway. Entering an exit only.

I support three atheist men wishing to marry. I do not support crimes against children. That's not an argument against polygamy. So stop using it. It didn't work the first few times you used it, it will never work. Give it up. If someone in a SSM commits a crime do we ban SSM?
There are perfectly good laws against all the crimes you ignorantly associate with polygamy.
But we've been through all this many times. You just lie and say I'm "deflecting". Or you just delete me. Some argument.
The bottom line is I support marriage equality and you do not.
Do you support polygamy based on religious beliefe, yes or no?

My support for marriage equality has nothing to do with religion. But what if it did?

Did you delete my posts out of spite because you couldn't handle them intellectually? Yes or no?

Which is true, the mods deleted them for violations of TOS, or you deleted them spitefully? You have said both. It can't be both, liar.

For decades, the prevailing logic has been that polygamy hurts women and children. That makes sense, since in contemporary American practice that is often the case. In many Fundamentalist Latter-day Saints polygamous communities, for example, women and underage girls are forced into polygamous unions against their will. Some boys, who represent the surplus of males, are brutally thrown out of their homes and driven into homelessness and poverty at very young ages. All of these stories are tragic, and the criminals involved should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.(That goes without saying, I hope.)

But legalizing consensual adult polygamy wouldn’t legalize rape or child abuse. In fact, it would make those crimes easier to combat.

The definition of marriage is plastic. Just like heterosexual marriage is no better or worse than homosexual marriage, marriage between two consenting adults is not inherently more or less “correct” than marriage among three (or four, or six) consenting adults. Though polygamists are a minority—a tiny minority, in fact—freedom has no value unless it extends to even the smallest and most marginalized groups among us. So let’s fight for marriage equality until it extends to every same-sex couple in the United States—and then let’s keep fighting. We’re not done yet.

If that post is "homophobic" to you, it's the same as saying only gay men stick stuff up their butts. You're a homophobe to assume that. Own it. You can't hide your homophobia by lies and bluster. Or cheating.

Well what? Do you want to personally fuck everybody to find out for yourself whether they are gay or not? Are we supposed to take your at your word that you're straight?
If a doctor tells you that you have cancer, does that settle it? Do we as a society have to accept it? Or,should we as a society empathize with your struggle and offer help?
interesting that you use cancer to try and make an analogy about homosexuality or gender identity issues.
there are all kinds of physical tests for cancer. just what would be the test for homosexuality or gender identity confusion_

same rules for everyone includes article 1 of the washington state constitution.

Obviously, it depends on location. But generally speaking, I would say yes: Most markets would accommodate a white-only trailer park, except for the fact that it would be illegal to have a white-only policy.
Public policy in the form of duly enacted laws fixes the problems that the free market allowed.
can you even imagine what a 'whites only' trailer park would look like?
do black people even live in trailer parks?

If you introduce your wife to someone and they ask "are you heterosexual or bisexual?" )since a man married to a woman typically is one or the other sexual orientation), do you expect to person to accept the answer you give? If they demand proof, would you acquiesce and provide them proof? If so, what proof would you provide? Being attracted to women doesn't prove it. How would you prove you aren't attracted to men if being taken at your word isn't sufficient?
you're kind of making my point.
of course there is the current wife of the newly elected ny city mayor....

Here is a clue, if you are a man, and you find other men sexualy attractive, you might be gay.

If you see a man nude next to a woman who is also nude, and your a man, yet you find your self thinking about the guys body, you might be gay.

If you have the chance to have sex with either a man or a woman and you are a man and choose the man, you might be gay.

Questions?

I'd love to understand the mental and religious gymnastics necessary to claim a same sex wedding is morally wrong but two men in a relationship that are obviously homosexual isn't from the standpoint one would sell flowers in the latter case but not the former.
so she sent flowers with notes expressing their love for one another. what is wrong with a men loving another man?
a wedding implies and expresses something more than just love.

Indeed. And no constitution, whether state or federal, gives anyone an absolute and universal exemption from obeying the law because of their religious beliefs or moral convictions.

As proviate citizens, yes. As businesses, no unless anti-discrmination laws either don't include sexual orientation as a protected class or they specifically exempt businesses that provide goods and services in limited situations.

You "suppose" a lot of stupid things Barry, this would just be one more. You "suppose" a myriad of circumstances, because you are completely unable to demonstrate the religious persecution you have made up, nor are you able to demonstrate how Ms. Stutzman is above the law. So you dream up a ridiculous amount of alternate reality scenarios hoping that one of them might help you. To date, none of them have.
Ms. Stutzman is on record for refusing to create flowers for weddings involving two people of the same gender. That would include two women moron. Here Barry, since you seem so very, very, very hung up on this, let us lay out every possible scenario that your bigot florist would have refused....
* Straight man marrying a gay man
* Straight man marrying a straight man
* Gay man marrying a gay man
* Straight woman marrying a gay woman
* Straight woman marrying a straight woman
* Gay woman marrying a gay woman
Oddly, we are all perfectly aware that your bigot florist would have had absolutely no problem providing flowers for a wedding if a gay man were marrying a gay woman. And it's pretty much assumed that she would have had no problem providing flowers for people that were divorced from previous spouses, even though her little bible condemns this MUCH, MUCH more than it ever even supposedly brings up gay people.
All straight on your bigot florist now Barry? Have we made it clear all the various alternate reality scenarios that she would have discriminated against?
'Oddly, we are all perfectly aware that your bigot florist would have had absolutely no problem providing flowers for a wedding if a gay man were marrying a gay woman.'
case closed, thrown out. she did not decline the invitation to have a part in their wedding because of their homosexuality.
