This young lady was not allowed into prom due to what some consider a skimpy dress. The police were called and they said she could leave on her own or go with the police.

Well some proms apparently have dress codes...so if you break it they will send you home.

And wow that dress was slutty, but I'm assuming it was going to be SUPER hot that day..but still? a nice short summery dress would have been better. o.O;

Hi Ariel! I don't necessarily blame the police for doing what they had to do by telling her that her dress was to skimpy and going home, since she apparantll looks like a prostitute in that dress anyway. Interesting enough, when I was on my way to work this evening,I was listening to the Michael Baisden show and they were talking about how black men and black women are going to their proms dressed up like pimps and hoes and he couldn't be any more dead on with this issue. The problem obviously lies within hip hop cultures strong influence on your youth who want to look all cool and sexy for their friends like what attention whores do(no pun intended), when they go to the prom. These black girls can try and weary their sexy skimp dresses all they want to to the prom, but if they get raped in the ass during prom, all I can say is, I told you so and she was "ASKING FOR IT"!LOL! That's why so many high schools have started enacting very strict dress codes for high school proms, since it's totally unaaceptable for a boy or girl to be dressing like a pimp or a slut.

Hello! That's what I am thinking, where is her mother, her father, her sense of being almost naked?

If Mom/Dad were on their game, this would have never happened. The school had to do what her parents did not. Shame.

Hi miss sha it has been a while since we talked.

Her father is probably not around to have an opinion on what she wears. Judging from the way she is dress I can tell she consider herself a grown women. Which means her mother probably don't have a saying in what she do or wear either.

In my opinion I thin the girl made her own dress, it is by far sluty. And anyone with good taste well automatically tell you that dress is not only slutty but ugly as well.

well in my old hood the gurls use to dress like that even at school if they could get by with it. i think that black gurl in the video was just tryin to show off. it was that way where i grew up. black gurls an puerto rican gurls was always dressin like that to compete against each other.
