P&G Weighs Pulling Ads From MTV, BET, Taking Calls

No. Obviously, there advertising has worked because we have continued to buy their products, so the assumed responsibility should be shared. Its our job to teach our children to separate fact from fiction, real from imaginery, true from false. No one is campainging to stop MSNBC from profiling predators, or the imagery from war torn countries. I think its important to use what is shown on TV (good or bad) as a lesson to teach our children. If they never see the lies, how will they learn to distinguish them from the truth?

If they don't advertise on MTV & BET -which are one of the same- they will just advertise somewhere else! VH1 maybe? P&G makes big bucks advertising... the only reason they would even consider NOT advertising on these channels is due to decrease in sales. There has to be a catch.

Music sales, in general, are down.

Advice: Promote positive rap (there is plenty) & you'll see the culture change.

Please, that's just a front. These guys have been in it for the money from the beginning. They put it on those kind of stations because the age group that's targerted is always watching BET and MTV. Do you really think these fat cats want to actually lose some money. NO!
