i agree, racial pride is an expression of self-love that translates into a well adjusted high achieving community. aa use to be bout racial pride even though elements of self-hate has always been there which is understandable with a history of jim crow and hundreds of years of slavery.

I'm not sure if "pride" is the correct word for what I feel. I think "admiration" is more accurate. Pride, in my opinion, is something you get from accomplishing a goal that you set out to do and work hard to achieve. I think admiration is more accurate because it conveys the sense of awe that I feel when I think about my race and the civilizations it has created. I don't have anything against anyone who has an admiration or pride in their race but I think having pride in something you weren't responsible for is illogical.
