It was like that when the bad guys had this ultimate henchman.

What happened to the original Spotted_Girl?? She was bold, had spunk.....wreak havoc on the Black Man in her wake. That's who I missed the most! So original, ya know?
Smh.......(need to bring her back and kill this "new image" Spotted Girl. Just saying)
That image just had to go. This one has been percolating for some time and is not as sudden as it seems. But being on here is like a trap, and once you get into a rut, others won't let you out of it. I still suffer the intrusive thoughts and memories, and I am not sure if I've started to accept the fact that I will keep having them or not, but the words of a friend have sank in. Everything we do is a choice, even when we are hurting, and it all comes down to one decision, and that is whether you are a curse or a blessing.

And I've told off some of the right people. If you have to tell others off, go for the ones you find most responsible, and not merely symbols of them.

Plus I've been trying to renew my faith, and I've come up with an experimental OTC cocktail using GABA, St. John's Wort, and SAMe. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain, it helps increase delta brainwaves, and plays a role in sleep and dreams. My rationale is to take it and get more vivid dreams, and perhaps more emotional release. SAMe helps in that it is one of the basic raw materials the body needs for making neurotransmitters. Usually it comes from a whole chain of chemical conversions in the body, and starts from things like B-Complex. One of the neurotransmitters that gets boosted is serotonin. In some people who have intrusive thoughts, OCD, social anxiety, etc., a low-dose antidepressant might be beneficial. St. John's Wort functions as a MAO inhibitor, and MAOi's are an older class of antidepressants. St. John's Wort functions more like the newest of the MAOi medications which don't need special precautions like avoiding certain foods.

Speaking of MAOi medications and supplements, I'm reminded of an episode of Emergency where they came and a professor was in a psychotic state. He was throwing things, saying that some people were spies, etc. They got him to the hospital, and all of a sudden, some people out of nowhere inserted themselves into the situation, demanded that the medical records be changed to an assumed name, etc. They turned out to be feds. He was a diplomat and they thought his condition could be terror related or at least an attempt by the Russians or whoever to make him unable to speak on behalf of a treaty they were trying to get. He was instrumental to them in trying to make it happen. The doctors were trying to find the cause and the government kept getting their their way. Finally, Dixie spoke to his wife, and she made a comment that yielded a clue. She said he was depressed due to his job, the pressure, the secrecy, and all, and that after he got a checkup, he suddenly seemed a lot easier to get along with. And she asked what she had fixed him, and she said she made a large cheese omelet. So that opened up the possibility that maybe he was on medication and was too proud or ashamed to tell his wife, and that she had no way of knowing about the food-drug interaction. So all that cheese along with the antidepressant triggered a psychotic episode, but at least they knew what was wrong and were able to treat it then.

But it doesn't mean I am getting weaker. There are different types of strength, and self-control and being able to take some stuff also fits in there. I know some have been trying me lately in these threads, but that is to be expected. That is like when someone really wants to quit cigarettes, drugs, or alcohol. There will almost always be saboteurs around, and you have to expect that and remain strong.

Speaking of agendas, even old television shows had them. For instance, shows related to rescues and police had understanding those professions as a goal. But there were also other things such as animal rights or pet population control. That reminds me of The Price Is Right and what Bob Barker always said at the end - "Help control the unwanted pet population, have your pets spayed or neutered."

So a lot of the agendas promoted were more beneficial and more subtle. They included animal rights as mentioned above, and ending racism.

But then of course, Public Television/Radio (ie., PBS and NPR) has always had very strong left-wing agendas and has always been filled with foreign influences. But as the culture is shifting, they are picking up momentum and becoming more blatant.

It's a favorite of theirs. Especially if he has a German accent but they kind of wore out that cliché and prefer Eastern European now. Jews have a Nazi fetish. You can see it with all of these holocaust movies. It's weird.

I was referring to the Topix "neighborhood," not any real one. This forum is the "ghetto" of Topix it seems. So this thread is a place located in the Topix projects.

I don't think I said anything about kids, which is no concern to anyone online and this thread is not about me. It is not about what I "want," but about who I am. If you believe sexual orientation is inborn, then you must also believe that it is possible to be born without any romantic or reproductive interests. If you can be born attracted to both, you can be born attracted to neither and without certain attractions. And it is a permanent state of being. If you are born with two heads, you don't suddenly not have one anymore by any act of volition (outside of surgery) or suddenly decide to stop living the "lifestyle" of having two heads.

I know what you meant. I was joking too.

And for any living thing not to want to reproduce something would have to be wrong with them. Especially someone who seems racially conscious like you. I thought that was the whole point. Even if you didn't want sex, do it artificially.

LOL! I got you on the first part now! It does seem that way.

It doesn't Not at all. It is natural for SOME humans to not have any interest in sex nor romance. Being ethnically conscious is more about culture than race. I honestly don't care if I lived in a neighborhood full of space aliens if they lived in ways that were compatible with how I did things. But it doesn't mean I would want to mate them or that I'd want my family members to do so.

As for artificial stuff, that would not be a good idea, since it would mean having kids without 2 parents of the opposite sex. I believe that is the ideal, although gay activists want to attack people in the streets or get them fired for saying that. Except for the agenda part, I imagine gay homes are a tad healthier than single-parent ones (more supervision and less feelings of abandonment), but there is still a deficit there when it comes to raising heterosexual kids. Sure, they can get some ideas about what a stable home is like, but they would be at a loss as to how to treat a romantic partner of the other sex beyond what comes naturally for them which may or may not be the best.

Okay, things are slow here and I don't feel as chipper. I guess it is true what my phone friend says. She is afraid of mountaintop experiences since that means soon being in a valley. And the bad memories and stuff keep flooding in.

Nothing bothers me. I don't have peaks nor valleys. There were never any good memories, so I guess you could say all of the memories have been blocked out.

Just a few of my character flaws not readily apparent to someone who inadvertently stumbles over my posts.

I'm doing good. Slightly dazed and confused around the edges, but that's my normal state.

It's a gray, dismal, overcast day here in Zimbabwe By The Lake, NY. Temps are cool and we've had a day-long, cold drizzle - my favorite kind of day, actually, as it matches my personality to a T. The drizzle could be a bit colder, but I'm not complaining.

A former neighbor didn't have your eyes, but aside from that, she looked enough like you to be your older twin sister (if you had a sister) or your aunt. She was a Georgia peach. I'm guessing you are, too.

If I had known her hometown sat so far back from its designated exit along the interstate, then I wouldn't have bothered to get off the interstate to check it out.

I still have recurring nightmares of logging trucks, cruising at 70mph with full loads, crossing the center line and going right over the top of my Honda Accord, and not dislodging so much as a single log in the process.

There has been alot of talk about religious symbols in jobs which require a uniform.

Muslims are calling us racist for not allowing them to wear a scarf in the policeforce, hotel receptions etc.

This debate of course required my well educated answer.

Im gonna start wearing monks robe and apply to the police-academy... We shall see if they let me in.

Monks robe is my religious symbol. Or bishops hat and robe.

Good point. A pentacle would be another one to wear. "We can't let you wear that, everyone will think you are a Devil Worshiper."

Being against the impositions of Islam is not racist. Islam is no more than a race than is homosexuality.

Or shoot, make up a race and religion. It would be funny if someone were to paint themselves up in an unusual skin color, with some unique hairstyle, and throw in some made up religion with its own symbols, and then sued if they were fired or never hired. "Your Honor, they didn't hire me because I am Green, I'm true to my Green culture and people, and because I practice Grenetianism and worship the Blessed Green One."
