Ummm...only if your refering to most black people on topix, than yes they are dumb. Most of them are pathetic, especially the ones who feel the need to degrade black men/woman in order to uplift another race. I would have to agree with you Omambi. I live in the blackest city in the US Detroit, MI. And I run a business here. The Black adults here are rude disrespectfull to each other and dangerously ignorant. The youth are even worse, They make make you want to shoot them with out hesitation. BLACKS AS GROUP WILL NEVER PROGRESS AS ONE. WE TOO JEALOUS AND ENVIOUS OF EACH OTHER. WE'RE STILL CAUGHT IN THE SLAVE MENTALITY.

Excellent post! I am a Black woman and I have to agree with the points you made. It is like bieing ignorant and ghetto for many urban youth is a badge of pride and being educated is "selling out". Not all Blacks act like this, but the stereotypes are still out there. The Black community really has it's priorities and values screwed up.
