Thank you for understanding me. Tbh, I didn't really understand what she was saying.
I think she meant in general..African women do not want to be approached by AAM (or any non African male)..although it's common place for AAM (and other non-African men) to take the liberty to make unwanted advancements towards African women (regardless of how repulsive we tell them it is for us)....some are very sensitive and take it personal..rather that respect the cultural differences...

<quoted text> Most Black Africans already do that...I thought several comments in here already mention Lupita is finding praises among Black African men (and others)..and was just curious why such recognition was excluded by AAM....I guess the census is..her physical appearance isn't a qualifier for what is deemed attractive for many/most AAM..
for us Africans (many)...she's stunningly gorgeous
<quoted text> The majority of AA are dark skinned no?..or brown skinned?...certainly not light skinned? So shouldn't AA mostly be praising darker or is it medium brown AAW? No African or African woman expect AAM to praise any shade of African women..our men do a very good job at making us feel loved and appreciated..those who ask why AAM's praise for this woman is absent aren't African..
African Men PRAISING darker-skinned in the media through Magazines, Beauty Pageants, Music Videos, Movies, etc is what I mean. The images should constantly be reinforced. AAM shouldn't be phrasing neither dark-skinned or light-skinned because skin complexion isn't uniform among AA's. Darker-skinned is MORE uniform among African ethnic groups as with pale skin among Nordic Europeans. I'm NOT saying AAM should PRAISE lighter-skinned women either. BW who are makin' progress and contributing to the AA community should be PRAISED by AAM. We do NOT need to continue division among ourselves by praising one shade over the other. This is why Africans should be PRAISING PPL based on skin color more so.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for helping me understand. I understand though, some guys can be very invasive. And no offense, but black guys do fathom that most women adore them. They can be a bit too egotistic.

Nor is it among Africans...I have no idea why some of you seem to think skin various isn't common among Africans either.....We are as light, brown, and dark as many of you...and our looks are more diverse than any other group of people in the world..

among some African ethnic groups..and some places..dark skinned isn't even found..I do wish more AA actually visited Africa..

We don't need to praise based on skin color..no need for it (as once again..race isn't some major factor among us)..We praise Africans who represent us well..that make us proud in some way..

We know skin color varies among Africans but I'm speakin' on African ethnic groups NOT The whole Continent. Some African groups are more diverse than others. Not all African groups have the same color variation as AA's.

You do if ur group is NOT diverse and want to maintain a uniform look such as Nordic Europeans.

Africans use to be very tribal now all of sudden some of you want to claim you guys are all one. African Americans have always claimed we are one despite our differences. We may have our issues due to racism but many never rejected other Blacks based on their culture.

Well some AA's are ignorant but AA's who are educated would NOT reject Africans based on their cultural differences however we know Africans do this to each other or have done this too each other. The only reason some Africans are less tribal now is due too post colonization which is forcing some of them into Western Countries where they have to live among different ethnic groups. This is what happened to West Africans when they were forced into America during slavery.

I personally find Lupita beautiful and even exotic against the backdrop of the usual phenotype disseminated from Hollywood. My aesthetic assessment of her is not contingent upon whether or not she dates black men, for her beauty stands on it's on merit....in my individual opinion.

Having said that, I understand and I'm respectful of the fact that we don't all share the same template in defining what constitutes feminine beauty nor does there exist a consensus on a specific standard for black beauty; there are many variations, so I expect there to be many dissenting views and opinions.

We are not all attracted to the same aesthetic features and hue of color is simply a sub category of aesthetics that people variable into their considerations. I don't think that darker hued sisters need a psychological affirmative action program to shore up their market value in the eyes of men, I say, let the unseen hand of amatory supply and demand handle that. What is esteemed and valued in one demographic may be less so in another, plus it's insulting to suggest that they should be objects of pity and charity.

My only issue with Lupita would be when she dressed in any other color beside white or orange because she kills in those two colors.

Hannia looks like an arab. If you and Lisa look something like Hannia then expect AA men to hit on you. You look like the mixed AAW and latinas. HOA women complain about AAM hitting on them even when dressed in Islamic tents and trailed by a dozen kids.

There isn't a day that passes when I'm out that I don't get hit on my AA men. It at a point I don't even look in their direction anymore because I'm tired of replying to their advances. I don't mean to be offensive, but I really never had any interest in AA guys but they just seem to be drawn to me. To be fair, the White guys do the same too, but I find the way AA men advance to be very strange and pushy.

I find Lupita to be a beautiful woman inside and out, but I'm a female and I see her in a different way than a man would. Sadly, I know that she's not what men would find attractive, but that doesn't mean she's not attractive. Men are just rigid and close minded about certain things.
Just think, a woman like Beyonce actually MARRIED a man who looks like JayZ. No way in life would you ever have a woman who looked like JayZ bed, marry, or even breathe on a man who was as attractive as Beyonce. This tells you that women are more accepting of unconventional features in humans than men are, but men are the selectors so they have a biological purpose to promote the most desirable features. They can't help what they don't like.

You don't know women!

Women go for the best looking man that's shown on the crime shows. Even when they get with wealthy men they look for attractive Strapping handsome men to have sex with an move on and he's generally younger!

When women have money they go for the best looking similar to men as well as younger men!

The most undesirable men in the US are Black manes with no education. Lack of education makes no future especially for many of the educated Black women who are more attractive they've been saying "Hell No" , I don't blame them.

We can look at your behaviors as well as disrespect to your Ex White wife to see why dating/marrying a Broke BM rarely pays off!
