This man sounds like a fool. Anytime someone disagrees with the Obamessiah or just doesn't think he is all that,(average) Black folks cry racism. That's garbage AT BEST. I am Black and I listen to Rush, Hannity, and the rest on a regular basis, not just to try and find sound bites to call racist. Their disdain for Obama, as mine, has nothing to do with him being Black. Everyone doesn't think Obama is the best thing to ever happen to the U.S. and many people, both Black and White, have enough sense to know that this Presidential race was about RACE for a WHOLE LOT of Black people, regardless of the rhetoric that was being spewed by the left and Black voters who didn't know anything about the issues. You should probably read blogs that base their articles on facts, not poorly formed opinions.

I don't cry racism - I call ignorance. I don't have a problem with disagreeing with anyone but when their "opinions" are peppered with lies, smears and fears and ignorance especially when it comes to Hannity - its toxic ignorance.

I sure as hell hope Obama, or somebody in that big ole white house knows what they are doing. Shall we say at this point, our country is up shits creek without a paddle!!

@Responsibility All those things you named are subjective. What you call a "lie", someone on the other side of the aisle calls the truth between the lines. We think you're all a bunch of ignoramuses, too, so that's not even a big deal. The big deal is calling someone's views racist simply because they are in opposition to that of a Black person, namely Obama. That's just stupid. White people who don't like Obama aren't racist just because they aren't eating a mile of his crap just like their liberal counterparts. That's all I'm saying. There are Black people who believe that Obama and many of his "followers" are full of crap, too, for the same reasons as the "hate talk" show hosts. But then again, we're often called "sellouts". Black Americans tend to have a hard time understanding when people don't agree with our 'causes'.

You should probably read blogs that base their articles on facts, not poorly formed opinions. I agree with a portion of your post. I think it is foolish for black people to cry racism every time something doesn't go our way or someone diagrees with us. I stop there. The fact that you listen to these people on a daily basis gets tot he heart of what the writer of the article above was talking about. Look at your one statement. "and many people, both Black and White, have enough sense to know that this Presidential race was about RACE for a WHOLE LOT of Black people". This presidental race was about race for alot of people, both black and white. You also go out and accuse black people of not knowing the issues by writing this "regardless of the rhetoric that was being spewed by the left and Black voters who didn't know anything about the issues." It is clear that you must be at least a conservative to say that. You are doing it yourself, puting people down who don't agree with you. Bottom line here is, much of what was said in their shows did and still does project racist views, or at least boaderline racist views to be interpreted (sp) how one see fit to do so. Just as many white peopel didn't vote for obama based on the fact he is a person of color as blacks did because he is a person of color. If these shows and FOX news were not in the game of race and bigotry then they would not have been using his (Obama) middle name to inject fear into people's hearts.(in a doppy voice) But that is his middle name, is it not.(end voice) yeah, it is, but how many times did they use McCains last name, not many, for all the political TV I watched over the last 8 years I don't even know his middle name. Rush is the worst offender, followed closely by Hannity. This is extremist radio and they can't believe in everything they say themselves because it is too extreme for anyone to believe it all. THieir views may not be "racist" but they are boarder line hate speech and for that they should be taken off the air.

I am white. I voted for Alan Keyes-a very black man, far blacker than Barack. I'm not liberal. So I'm a racist? I'm not a racist? I'm a racist? I would vote for J.C. Watts in a heartbeat.

Rush's right hand man is a black guy... Bo Snerdly (sp). Hannity has black conservatives on his show all of the time... including one of my favorites, J.C. Watts (as mentioned above) It's not a white vs. black thing, it's a Conservative vs. Liberal thing.

You should probably read blogs that base their articles on facts, not poorly formed opinions. I think you are mistaken on quite a few points my brother. You've pretty much said Blacks voted for Barrack simply based on race and the vast majority of Blacks didn't know the issues at hand. It seems as if you just wanted to take a swipe at Blacks in general. I didn't hear any of this talk in 2004 or any Presidential race prior to 2008 when Blacks overwhelmingly voted for the Democrat nominee. What do you have to say about that? Based on the 2004 Presidential election exit polls, John Kerry received 88% of the Black vote. If I am not mistaken I think Barrack received something like 90% but I am not certain on that number. If you didn't know Blacks have historically voted Democratic in this country and if Hillary Clinton was the Democratic nominee she would have received the same number of Black votes that Barrack had and nothing would have been said but since Barrack is half Black then you and others want to come out and say most Blacks just voted for Barrack because he was Black and that they had no idea what his positions are/were on any of the issues that are effecting this country. The bottom line is that Republican Party had no viable candidates and no strategy to have won the election. They thought they would use the same strategy they used in 2004 (527 ads) but I guess the economy trumped all of that and folks just wasn't buying it this time around. Also, where is the youth in the Republican Party? Why weren't young Republicans out beating the payment for McCain? When I watched the RNC convention all I saw was middle aged to elderly White people and as these dinosaurs die off so will many of their views and opinions and this will leave the party searching for people who are loyal to the party. I am sure there were a number of Blacks who voted for Barrack simply based on his skin color just as there were does who didn't vote for him simply based on his skin color so where does that leave us? I just don't like the fact that you are trying to insinuate that Blacks are not well informed on the issues that face this country and I want to tell you that you are sadly mistaken.

Let revise that. Not only do I think it will never happen. I don't think it should happen. As much as I find their trash talk appalling. There is an obvious market out their for it. With the thousands of entertainment choices we have now. There is no reason to force independent Radio owners to put on certain acts on the radio.
