There is one theory where Jordans father was murdered because he waz supposed to throw the Knicks / Bulls series. He scored 15 points, couldn't deal with it and the came back scoring like 60pts. He was suspended from the NBA for that time, that's why he played baseball, to stay in shape. The same person who owned the Bulls also owned the baseball team. Why else would they pay Jordan 20 million to play minor league baseball. Mike met with the commissioner 3 times before he retired. You don't have to believe me, just ask Jim Brown. Like Jim says " I was at the top of my game when I retired, I never met with the commissioner, why did Mike meet 3 times. All I have to say, there is a lot more to this than everyone is being told." Remember, Jordan was an American hero. Basketball needed it.By the way, the kids didn't kill him, they found him dead already.

During his sentencing, word leaked out that Donaghy informed the FBI that the NBA routinely instructed its referees to manipulate the outcomes of key games.
But another piece of information in that press release was a bit more interesting: Donaghy was beaten to the point of requiring surgery by a fellow inmate in November of 2008. An inmate with "mob ties."

"These are dangerous people [the referee] was involved with," a source said.

One source close to the probe counted the number of games on which the ref and his wiseguy buddies scored windfalls in the "double digits."

“They basically told me that I needed to give them the picks and if I didn’t, that it’s a possibility that somebody would go down and visit my wife and kids in Florida,” says Donaghy.

Thus began a relationship that former FBI Special Agent Phil Scala says produced “a few million dollars, conservatively, that went into the coffers of organized crime.”

The mafia was making millions but for each correct pick, Donaghy says he was getting just $2,000. But he was frightened at this point and it was no longer about the money, he says.“It was just about getting through the season and hoping that would end [the dealings he says he had with the Mafia].

Maybe this is why the lights went out in the superbowl.

49er owner is mob connected:

"The owner of the Pittsburgh Maulers in the new league was Edward J. DeBartolo, Sr., who was frequently under suspicion of mob ties.

"For example, the U.S. Customs Service had received information from one of its special agents, William F. Burda, in January 1981 that the DeBartolo organization 'through its control of particular state banks in the state of Florida is operating money-laundering schemes, realizing huge profits from narcotics, guns, skimming operations, and other organized-crime-related activities. This organization is reported to have ties to [Carlos] Marcello,[Santos] Trafficante, and [Meyer]Lansky and because of its enormous wealth and power has high-ranking political influence and affiliations.'

"In an earlier report, authored by Burda, the special agent wrote that he had developed source information indicating that 'Meyer Lansky, the financial wizard of OC [organized crime], is now considered by most to be almost senile and getting out of the business. His successor and new financial wizard is recognized as Edward J. DeBartolo.

If the chicago mob got obama in the door during his days as an Illinoise politician,it should be no surprise.

Now the russian mob is killing each other for 2014 Olympic construction contracts in rusia.

MOSCOW — One of Russia's top crime lords was gunned down Wednesday in Moscow in what police described as a war between two powerful mobs over lucrative construction projects, allegedly including ones for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Since 2006, Usoyan had been at war with a criminal group headed by another Georgian, Tariel Oniani, according to organized crime experts.

Russian media said the battle between the two clans had intensified in recent years as they vied for control over construction projects in southern Russia, including the huge sports facilities being built for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi

prove that Jordan was suspended. Of course you cant. NBA refs manipulating games is obvious to anyone, much different claim than claiming that Jordan was suspended by Stern.

oh you claim it is a theory, that is better. With what was done to WHITE MAN Pete Rose over gambling there is no way in hell the media would sit on a story regarding Michael Jordan gambling on his own team, or other NBA games while he was playing, they would have annihilated him.

In 1992, after winning his second championship, Jordan was called to testify in the criminal trial of James Bouler to explain why why Bouler, a convicted drug dealer, was in possession of a Jordan-signed personal check for $57,000.

First, Jordan claimed it was a business loan, but under oath he admitted that it was a payment for on gambling losses for a single weekend.

t the press conference when he was asked if he would ever return he said, " Five years down the road, if the urge comes back, if the Bulls will have me, if David Stern lets me back in the league, I may come back."

Now why in the world would Jordan ever say if David Stern lets him back, then maybe he would come back when the reporter didn't mention Stern's name at all in his question?

Only days after Jordan announced his retirement, the league dropped its investigation, saying he did nothing wrong (I guess betting numerous amounts on sports isn't wrong then).

Was there a secret agreement between Jordan and Stern where Stern told him to simply retire and create a distraction so that he wouldn't face a suspension and have his huge marketable name stay clean?

Remember that Washington Redskins game where the refs allowed them five downs to score a touchdown? That touchdown covered the point spread.

How does the ref allow five downs?

Asked how he communicated his bets to the mob, Donaghy said,“I would discuss it with a high school friend of mine, who would pass the information along to them.”

There was a code.“The code was if I want them to be the home team, I would discuss his brother Chuck. And if I wanted him to bet the visiting team, I would mention his brother Johnny,” Donaghy explained.

FBI Special Agent Scala told Simon the FBI made a very conservative estimate that the mob made at least a few million dollars off Donaghy’s pi

"I did not kill Mr. Jordan, no sir," Green said. "I did not kill him; that's cut and dry. It's not like I was even there when he was killed."

In court documents and prison paperwork, he's Daniel Green. But, he claims to be a Muslim and prefers the name Lord Uallah. Whatever the name, he says his co-defendant, Larry Demery, is the man who killed James Jordan. During the trial in early 1996, Demery said Green was the trigger man.

"He said you did it," reporter Mark Roberts asked. "How do you feel about Larry Demery?"

"I feel that both of us are pawns in a game," Green said.

The department of correction says Green has 12 serious infractions on his prison record. He says that comes from defending himself against prisoners who are Michael Jordan fans, and from the prison system.

"Administration's trying to cause situations to occur where I would either be killed or would kill somebody, and then that way they could say,'Oh see. Now didn't we tell you he was violent,' " Green said.

The theory is that he was suspended for his gambling issues, but that everyone wanted to keep it hush-hush. Stern, because it would have been too controversial to suspend the face of the league at the height of his career, when he was winning championships; and MJ, because it would have harmed his image (don't forget, he was one of the biggest advertising whores of all time).

As to the specific claim that he was supposed to throw the series against the Knicks in the 93 playoffs, he shot 37% from the field in the first two games. In Game 4 he snapped out of his funk and went for 54 on 60% shooting.

Lab mistakes revive questions about murder of Jordan's father.

"I feel that both of us are pawns in a game," Green said.

Given the gruesome portrayal, Daniel Andre Green's defense attorneys repeatedly questioned why so little — if any — blood was actually found in that vehicle, and one of the lawyers once laughed in court when downplaying the physical evidence.

"It looks like it's going to be something pretty significant," Green's current attorney, Scott Holmes, said of the report released Wednesday.

Green's lawyers argued at the time that he had nothing to do with the killing and that Demery, who testified against Green, was coerced into pleading guilty to murder to save himself. The defense called four witnesses who testified that Green was with them watching television at the hour Jordan was killed.

Since Donaghy had nothing to do with the drug stuff, the FBI called Stern and said we have one of your refs on tape, are you interested in this? David Stern immediately went into damage control mode and brought down the hammer on Donaghy thus making him the lone scapegoat and saving face for the NBA. This is pretty ironic when you consider that there have been rumors for years that the NBA fixes games to benefit the league.
