It's not any deadlier in black woman than it is in asian or white. The problem is this. Black women are MORE than likely not to have adequate health insurance. And even if they do have insurance and are diagnosed, they are still LESS likely to start treament.
The majority of black women that have been DIAGNOSED with breast cancer, were MORE than likely diagnosed during late stages of the disease thus making it harder to treat and death iminate!

These reports make it seem like black woman have the same and equal diagnosis and still fall short and that is NOT the case here.

Black women with BC die faster because they are diagnosed too late in the cancer stage and aren't offered life saving chemo and drugs because they are told the cancer has either spread to other organs OR are in an UNtrewatable stage.

So it's not deadlier, the point of discovery is usually too late and virtually untreatable.

Black women don't even get mammograms as often and are less likely to be told by their doctors to have one UNLESS breast cancer has been in the family at least 2 generations back.

So the odds are against us because of lack of diagnosis, lack of early detection, lack of mammograms, and lack of healthcare availability.

'MizzHoneyBeez" Should really learn how to read.

"The report also points out that black women more commonly have subtypes of tumors that are harder to treat, especially a kind called triple negative breast cancer."
