If Afro-latinas were talented we would be reading their books, buying their music in huge numbers around the world...but we aren't. Because they aint got it like that. but you ain't growing. what's the point of all that talent if you slowly disappearing? also, nyc has arguably the strongest aa culture in america. and most of that culture is maintained by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation caribbeans. hip hop was partially started by caribbean americans, in ny, for example. also most of the africans come from the cream of their societies, and bring a lot to the table. this is why the east coast is so interesting. cuz it's not just the numbers, but quality of blacks, who want to build up the neighborhoods. http://www.youtube.com/watch...

BM may be considered more as sexual objects who other races of women want to experiment with...but your IR relationships are very unsuccessful. A women must view a man a s a person, not merely a sexualised object to love him genuinely. Also Halle is not a black woman anyway, her issues have nothing to do with black women, she hs a white mother. That's kind of a biased thing to say.. You can't say it isn't love.. just because it doesn't involve black women. Stop hating, makes you look even stupider. And as I stated earlier... BW don't have the options so they will stay with anything they have when in IR, and take anything they can get. BM and WW are still in high demand so have options and standards and high expectations like normal same race relationships.

Also Jlo dumped Pdiddy to chase Ben Afleck, like she had lost her mind... and Nicole Brown Simpson preferring regular white boys over an... athlete OJ speaks volumnes..... Non blk women prefer their own when they're attractive... and fall back on BM when they know they can't get a white, latino etc man of their own culture... also they push and support their men to be leaders etc... they only did it for Obama because his mother is white..

African Americans have made a disprortionate contribution to entertainment, literature and the arts. There is something very special about true AAs descended from US slavery. It will be a terrible shame for these talented people to be swallowed up by whites and other black races. Great comment and filled with truth!

Amazingly I agree with some but not all that you are saying. Black women who date and marry other men have been called sell-outs and accused of hating black men when the truth is these black women is just getting away from the craziness of black men also. The irresponsibility for life, the selfishness, the game playing and the using. I agree that a large scale split between black women and black men is unavoidable and much needed because right now both groups are just beating a dead horse.

You are much too biased to speak about BW in any context with WW. In your eyes white women are so superior to black women that you will never be rational. In YOUR opinion BW have no options, while white women have the world at their feet, simply becasue YOU have a strong preference for white women. Black men have no more options than the women who birth them, you guys are faces with the same prejudices. You just aqre too stupid or arrogant to see that being objectified is not "being in demand". White men have the same options as their females, they are the ones who give WW their prestige.

Because neither black women nor black men can dictate or define for their opposite gender what each other should desire, value or esteem in their perspective mates. We are free, of course, to express those things that we desire for ourselves, or those things that we fine most ideal or compatiable in a mate, but in the end; we either identify this person from amongst potentially millions and effectively persuade them that their romantic interest are best served by being with you, or stand on the sidelines and bxtch and moan! Love and romance is not an entitlement program that is due to each us upon demand. We can not lay claim to someone's love and affection simply because of racial or cultural ties. These ties born of our common journey puts us in an advantageous position to negotiate these possibilities, but if we are unable or unwilling to bridge the divide that makes our coexistence untenable, then we can not and should not complain about the net results. Men, because of our traditional role as the persuer, seem to grasp better the concept of having to meet a burden of proof in order to secure a woman's love that he is desirious of, whereas woman who are traditionally more passive and are more accustom to picking from amongst her petitioners, seem a bit disconnected from this burden of proof thing and can actually treat this requisite as an affront to her dignity. In the end, non of us, individually or collectively are entitled to anything or anybody. We cannot ask that someone forfeit their potential happiness elsewhere to confer upon us love that we have not proved deserving or incapable of sustaining. In the end, we get what we work for! Period!

EazyBreeze wrote: Why did many black men almost single handedly destroy the strong union between black men and black women for white women or white-like women? Now black men whine and have the nerve to acted betrayed now that some black women are hooking up with white men. When I was growing up black couples were tight! They had long since won their civil rights, were taking advantages of grants/loans to get their educations, getting good jobs, marrying and raising their black families together. Black people were finally buying homes in nice neighborhoods and had their own form of suburbia. I remember being a child in the late seventies and earlier 80s watching the great parties my parent threw! Everyone was happy and comfortable. Then as a teenager I started seeing more black men running to date white women. Excitingly praising and bragging about white women. Black men were betraying their black wives, black girlfriends and children for no reason except to chase white women. Black men really started ignoring black women's feelings and disrespecting black women but still expected black women to stand by and just take it. I couldn't believe how black men where stabbing black women in the backs and rubbing their faces in black men's relationships with white women when black women had loved them and had been so damn loyal to black men. White women nor Latinas would have put up such treason from their same race of men that long! That's why I applaud sisters who are open to dating other races of men and say to black women, not to wait for black love and to be with any race of men that you have a mutual love and respect with. Actually, it was "our"(black men and women) doing. So,we both tore it down now let's build it back up.
