The 'messages' in Rock Music were far worse & disturbing than any Hip-Hop. Music is a form of self expression & this how Rock artists express themselves.

Rakim-The 18th Letter(Always and Forever)

Since the first days you know of
Til the last days is over
I was always the flower
I made waves for Noah
From a compound
To the anatomy
To the breakdown
Of a atom
Some of my rap patterns
Still surround Saturn
From the ancient hieroglyphics
To graffiti painted pictures
I study I know the scriptures
But nowadays ain't it vicious
Date back I go beyond
Check the Holy Quran
To speeches at the audubon
Now we get our party on
So being beneficent
I bless 'em with dialogue
They expectin'
The next testament By the God

The mainstream only want us to see the negative aspects of Hip-Hop but with Rock, this is the opposite. Rock has has very satanic and disturbing aspect which would undermine all the so called talented rock artists whom are often celebrated while the talented artistic rap artists go unnoticed & the entire Hip-Hop genre is devalued.

Satanic elements are found in rock, pop, hip hop, etc.

Going back to the big band era to the present, all forms of afro music has been copied, but not hip hop, so since they cant copy it, they'll try to make it look bad and ingnore the sex, drugs, and rock n roll mantra, ...........

Yes it is but The Satanic elements are openly expressed in Hip-Hop. This was NOT the case with Rock music otherwise America would have been bashing the genre & the artistic elements would have been overlooked. If you haven't noticed, Hip-Hop Music has generated the same kinda appeal as Rock Music minus the reputation.

Hip-Hop could be MORE than what it is now but the artistic artists are often pushed in the background thus the genre is unable to reach it's full potential. Hip-Hop cannot reach it's full potential when you uncreative artists representing.

Exactly. All it does is glorify the thug life and give props to prostitution and drug dealing. Then the negroes actually try to defend it by calling it "self-expression". ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Yes but I'm also speakin' on lyrical content & messages. Most PPL would NOT see the artistic aspect of Rock Music if disturbing lyrical content represented the music.

I disagree. With some exceptions black metal is about self empowerment, and not counting on outside forces to win your battles for you. And the GG allin link you posted, is not representative of most punk/hardcore. He was a freak.
Rap and hip hop are the lowest forms of music on the planet.

You do know Rock Music was created by African Americans?? You call our music jungle music but will copy it. You sound like a HATER because only a hater would talk bad about someone & than later copy their style, lol

You are wrong. It has been copied by many many bands, and it sounds way better when its incorporated into a rock framework. bands like Faith No More, Clawfinger, etc.. take a crappy form of music and turn it into something enjoyable. We took your idea and made it far far better. Blacks musical output is so 2 dimensional. Its all r&b, and hip-hop. BORING.

Exactly there are exceptions too Rock Music & you have ur FREAKS who misrepresent the genre. Everyone has been able to see this in Rock Music but NOT so much in Hip-Hop due to mainstream record labels. The fact you believe there are no Hip-Hop artists whom are empowering only proves my point.

Correct you take ideas but claim we are 2 dimensional & boring, lol Those who lack ideas are the one's who are BORING because they never evolve musically. African Americans are the reason why we are NOT only listening too Classical Music & Opera.

classical music is the highest form of music there is, which is a white creation. As far as whites not evolving musically, it really makes no sense that you say that. Rock for example has so many facets, that are due to whites. Look at the blues. Its being taken over by whites and although I enjoy the original bluesmen, there are not a lot of young black men continuing that legacy, because everyone is so enamored with rap and hiphop.
