Jethro failed to read or apply the principles of his very own Declaration of Independence to slaves.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

When slaves were tranported to America, they became beneficiaries of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness which was denied. What ever bound them in Africa was not applicable in America.

Europeans created the term man, homospaien, human, etc. to describe THEMSELVES. And he founding fathers were White Supremacists, read about their Naturalization Act of 1790.

The founding fathers knew that blacks were 3/5 human so they were not considered in the declaration of independence, and rightfully so.

It wasn't until the revolutionary war when jethro realized they were slaves to Britain. That's when change started although slavery started to end here as early as 1777.

Very funny guys...thus the saying of Edmund Burke, "Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it".

There were many Laws in existence that denied rights to slaves, who were NOT considered human, but chattel goods. Thus the Declaration if Independence could not apply to them.

Whenever a Law is instituted, it's effect is deemed "legal", and therefore enforceable by the power of the govt.

That was then, it's history....

Today, Laws continue to evolve, and thus slavery has evolved with it. No longer is it a black/white type of "legal" discrimination, but ALL common citizens are a slave to this system.

You are only "free" to do what they allow you to do. Meanwhile they are taxing, penalizing,robbing, and stealing because they have made it "legal' to do so.

Slavery and Jim crow effects us today you simple minded fool. Had blacks not had their businesses burned down all the time in the early 1900s black net worth and purchasing power would be ten fold fool.

You seem to be missing the point, MoMo...

First of all, in 1776 (like now), Negroes were not considered "men". They were, as usual, slaves. And until 1861, slavery was perfectly legal in many states. Personally, I wish we would have picked our own cotton and spared ourselves the violence, filth, stupidity, blight, random breeding, and all the other atrocities out Negroes bring to the equation, but there you have it. The fact is, our Negroes were lousy slaves who contributed practically nothing to founding of this white-created and white-built nation. We've spent trillions over decades trying to integrate and civilize them, but it's been a massive failure. They're too dumb and savage to live in modern society. The solution? Repatriation.
