Ah shyt. Here we go again.

Dude Catholics do not have 5the same race problems that you have in Protestant America, and western European. Stop trying to make a parallel comparison. You make yourself look ignorant.

Reclaim African culture and forget about race. That is best for you. Love Africa. Forget skin color fetish.

I don't use the L-word, McAlister73. That a bit rude, don't you think?

Anyway, there's nothing "weird" about being a 62%er. I use that term because roughly 62% of men are sexually attracted to overweight but photogenic women. They are cute and plump and we just love it!!

They love white people...in the U.S., Carribean, Latin America, and some parts of Africa. They want to be mixed or to be light. U.S. blacks are adopting some views of some latin groups who want to whiten their families by marrying light or white. How can they expect people of other races to like them or marry them when they don't even like themselves and wouldn't marry themselves? That's like trying to convince someone to eat something that you hate eating.
You are a moron if you think you have any insight to what black people think or want. And who gives a damn who does or doesn't like them? There is nothing to miss about a fool that you don't even know not liking you. You sound like a stupid kid that isn't nor have you even been popular or liked and trying to project that foolishness on black people. You think because you woke up and was white that somehow the world loves you. Your vainy wrinkled skin is in for the shock of your life when you find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Like all the other whites that think the world loves them and have disappeared from the face of the earth never to be seen again. Yawn......

Actually, there IS a link to the survey data. Why are you so determined to be negative??

Does it give you pleasure to be able to put down women who don't qualify for the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition? Trust me, plenty of guys out there don't mind several extra pounds on a cute, plump honey.

How the hell did religion get into this? Do you know some Latino families only marry light and most are Catholic. Please hush.

Yeah, you pretty much wrote too much of nothing. Did I hurt your feelings? See the problems is that many don't like hearing from outsiders looking in but black people talk about it all the time. It looks crazy when I hear black kids tease darker toned kids and mothers telling their sons not to marry or date the dark girls they see them with. Some countries they bleach. Others marry out to lighten their families and they don't care who just as long as the partner is not black or is at least light. Why in some places is it hard for some people to embrace their African ancestry or wear their natural hair and get those damaging brazilian blow outs or whatever they are to achieve bone straight hair.

Some countries they bleach. Others marry out to lighten their families and they don't care who just as long as the partner is not black or is at least light.

Why in some places is it hard for some people to embrace their African ancestry...
African people are, by and large, POOR and powerless.
Ultimately, it's that simple, Falll.

When you lack resources, authority and strength, you can't conquer other nations and sway other peoples. You can't create your own international media empire. You can't effectively promote your indigenous beauty.

Your own standards of beauty wind up taking the back seat and instead you must "borrow" the standards of others - basically always trying to jump through the aesthetic hoops that others are holding out for you. This is the dilemma that millions of people of African descent are in, isn't it??

I wish I had answeres. Don't ask me how to become rich and powerful though - I don't know. LOL! But Oprah might be able to help us with that...

LMAO well for the record I am a hair stylist so there is another thing you can't tell me about. You are a self righteous putz trying to make yourself feel better than you are for not being black. More women are wearing natural these days than ever before. And even if for a change they flat iron it the hair goes back to natural once they shampoo it. More non blacks get Brazilian blow outs than black women and only about 10% of my clients get relaxers. So again in your arrogance you are spouting off about something you know nothing about.

As far as light skinned children go most BW I know prefer dark skinned men...period. What men prefer is in their heads. I am light skinned and have only dated a light skinned man once, all the others have been much darker than me. So there goes another theory.

You are going on about some BS you read on Topix from another black person with low self esteem and figured it applies to everyone else because you need to think that. It makes you feel superior to think that. Not one of my parents told me who to date marry or have children with. You're lost and clueless and could never hurt my feelings. I don't respect you or value your opinion so how could that even happen?
Now I am not saying some people don't have that mindset, but it isn't the black race. Worry about yourself, you have bigger issues than you think black people have.

That is what they always do love. Take a handful of black people's opinions on the internet and TV shows and immediately make an assessment of the whole black community with just that. If you try to give them numerous examples of people who do not conform to what they are saying they say, maybe not you and your friends but many others do - How many we ask? Just many, they say.... Oh Lord, smplh

If I wasn't talking about you, then don't get mad. Was I talking about all blacks? No. Stop answering to me as if I was referring to you. This issue is obviously big enough that it is forever talked about in documentaries and is in the conversations amongst black people. Trust me. I know many black people who have attested to this. I live in the real world and don't go off of Topix posters who could be anyone. I am speaking from what I have learned and witnessed. I don't care if you respect anything I say. You say that like it hurts me lmao. Stay in your fantasy world and pretend like there is no elephant in the room. Why bother giving me your input then? There are a thousand other threads to be on.

This isn't about worshiping anyone, it's about trust & respect & the fact of the matter is the majority of blacks can't be trusted nor do they respect anyone else, but those of us that do get screwed over by the blacks that can't be trusted & fall into the oh so many stereotypes about us. So stop blaming non-blacks for the reason why you don't get much respect. YOUR ACTIONS are the reason why these things happen.

You are reading way too much into this... I am in a relationship with a white guy because he is attractive to me, he is sweet and adorable and manly at the same time. He is educated and ambitious and yet can still have fun. He loves me and I love him.... That is why I am with him, if he was a black man from Africa, USA, England or wherever I would still be with him because although looks made me say yes to the very first date what made me stay is his character and who he is inside - he is the one I want to be with.
I see skin colour, I do see that he is white and I am black but that was and still is not the deciding factor. And by the way yes I can advice my girlfriends to date black men even though I am with a white man because I am not prejudiced like you... In fact when my friends ask me an opinion about a guy black or white I say it exactly how I see it. And yes,I can totally convince you to eat something I do not eat... KFC and McDonald's management has been doing that for years.
You lyin'!
