It seems as though Hollywood isn't the only place where the theme of African American people dying first in the movie or not making it past the conclusion of a horror movie regardless if a sequel or a prequel is made or not is not an exclusive element tied to just movies anymore.
''Video Games'' have adopted and adapted that same redundant formula as to some how prolong the perception of black people being expected to die when being cast as co stars in genres like suspense, horror, thriller, mystery, drama etc. Because all of those dramas have what in common? Death!

The Last Of Us

Videogame Plot: The player takes control of Joel a middle aged Caucasian male who is trekking across a post-apocalyptic United States in 2033, in order to escort the young Ellie a fourteen year old teenager to a friendly resistance group called the fireflies who set up a safe haven once Joel arrives with her as he is entrusted to get Ellie there safely as the fireflies await Ellie anticipating that she maybe the cure to end the plague . The players defend themselves against zombie-like humans, as well as hostile humans, employing the use of firearms and stealth, aided by capabilities such as a visual representation of sound in order to listen for locations of enemies. The player can also craft weapons or medical items by combining items found in the world.

But, as Joel and Ellie make their way across the city he runs into other survivors of course to assist them along the way, one being this other 14 year old black kid named Sam and his older brother named Henry. Ellie befriends Sam and Joel befriends Henry as they are all trying to escape a ravaged city that has been taken over by madness and infected hordes of zombie like creatures.

Ellie, Sam and Henry try to get more supplies to survive on but as they make there way back to the spot they found refuge at. Ellie find out that Sam has been infected as she opens the door to inform him the food is ready, and Sam attacks her, Henry hesitantly shoots his brother to help Ellie then shoots himself out of despair.

Then as Ellie and Joel finish making there way across the city they finally run into the ''fireflies'' headed by a black female named Marlene who wanted to use Ellie for a cure and demanded he leave Ellie to her to try an extract a cure from Ellie sense she seem to be immune to the virus right?
Well Joel being so attached to Ellie didn't want to make the journey back across the city by himself because he would be lonely and void of purpose since his daughter died early on in the video game from a gunshot wound. J

Joel took it upon himself to rescue Ellie out of desperation from the operating table killing one surgeon and picking up Ellie trying to escape the building through the garage exit on the bottom floor of the hospital. The black woman Marlene tries to reason with Joel and convince him to leave Ellie to her Joel contemplating whether he should or not since it is a possibility that Ellie would die in the process of surgery he shoots Marlene in the side to wound her to keep her from chasing them, but to make sure Marlene doesn't ever get in contact with Ellie again he shoots her Marlene' dead in the face.

Same old story, because I for one did not expect any of those black co-stars to make out alive, therefore I was not shocked when they died whatsoever. Black people just can't catch a break.

No offence bruh, but I'mma need u to shut da fk up! I didn't read past the first paragraph, and I knew wat this bullsht was all about. So what if these Krakkas kill off blacks early in their movies and games? It's their movie and game! Pick your battles more carefully, there are far more worthy causes. And for chrissakes, stop begging for their acceptance.
Self-sufficiency and self-reliance should be your theme.

To Cee-Cipher: Who said I was fighting a cause?''It is what it is''. Just because I described what happened doesn't mean it wasn't a perfunctory synopsis on my behalf to simply put forth a concise theory just for shits and giggles. Because I can name plenty of movies to where the above is the opposite where African Americans outlives everyone in the movie.

House on Haunted Hill:(1999) Where Taye Diggs lives to the end.

Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995) Jada Pinkett Smith survives to the end.

Night Of The Demons:(1988) Alvin Alexis who is a African American that survives the whole movie.

Deep Blue Sea:(1999) Were LL Cool J survives the whole movie another African American.

Stigmata:(1999) Where Nia Long survives the whole movie where all of the terrible things happen to her Caucasian friend Patricia Arquette.

Snakes On A Plane:(2006) Where Samuel L Jackson survives the whole movie.

I Know Who Killed Me:(2007) Where the main star is Lindsay Lohan and the co-star Garcelle Beauvais who played on the hit show ''The Jamie Foxx Show'' survived the whole movie though it was a very bad movie but none the less she lived.

Gothika:(2003) Where Halley Berry survives the whole movie though it was expected she lives sense she was the star of the show.

I can go on and on but you get my point. I was just pointing to the plane, I didn't care who jumped out, but apparently you did given your robust Chuck D fight the power razor blades and powder response. If you knew it was bullshit why waste your time writing about the smell?

You could of kept it moving if you wanted to but obviously striking a cord was a affinity you just couldn't resist by basing your argument on the false premise that I am somehow a lost negro who responded off of impulse and insecurity to white unfairness.
God, you couldn't be more of the mark though you clearly saw it right? Oh' well your brain pilot I guess lead you astray causing you to misjudge your jump to conclusions rhetoric.

To blaxRinferior2humans: Don't even get me started on your stupid white cliche horror movie redundant I'm gonna run! Um ... Over here from the baddie who makes his presence and intention known and the dumb white would-be victim must make a run for his/her life, five feet away is a car twenty feet away is a house. A quarter of a mile away is a dark, menacing forest. White's choice????? The forest of course! Run, rabbit, RUN!

Oh' here is another cliche Let's investigate! What was that strange bump in the night? I have an idea! Let's go stumble around in the dark and check it out.
I suppose it could be a serial killer or maniacal slasher or even a bloodthirsty mutant beast, but I'll bring this flashlight; and hopefully the high beaming light may startle the would be killer to let me live sense I had the balls bladder and galls to point it in it's face though it goes against the religion of not being caught red handed in the dark of the night.

Because When I go out on holidays, I usually choose somewhere nicely triangulated between a good club, a ok hotel and a fantastic STD clinic. I'm sure all of you are the same. What I don't do is hunt through a list of locations where horrific murders have occured, bring all my friends there, and then choose to tell everyone. Hey guys lets stay in there, I'm sure that those mutated humans that have been killing everyone in this area are on vacation as well.

I guess next time I post something I won't forget to bring a little balance in the room which I'm surely would make the would be comments think twice about what they write.
