A real world fact you ignorant buffoons cannot accept is, it didn't matter where we went to fight them. They were going to come wherever we went and fight us. I can just hear you treasonous frauds whining and wailing if Bush did what you suggest and left Saddam Hussein in his rear with a rebuilt war machine and took advantage of the US being concentrated in Afghanistan, moving his army into Saudi Arabia again to take the oil fields. Besides, Saddam Hussein had his own terrorist network going. You'd know this if you weren't indoctrinated with all the propaganda lies the Democrats invent to hide their treason.
So, since it's unarguable the Islamist jihad was going to come to wherever we went to fight us, you have to answer this question:
It's 9/12(2001). You're the President. What do you do?
Do you:
A) Surrender to the Islamist jihad? Or;
B) Do the Bill Clinton thing and lob a few cruise missiles into their general direction? Or;
C) Do the exact same thing in the exact same place against the exact same enemy as the Soviets, and you're stupid enough to expect something different to happen? Or;
D) You do something different that gives you a better chance of crusing the Islamist jihad like Bush did in Iraq?
If you choose D) do something different, what do you do?
You actually have to say what you would have done to answer the question.
When bush left office, there were no Al Qaeda in Iraq. Since Obama was named President, Al Qaeda has taken over western Iraq.... and attacked us in Benghazi, and are bombing every village and city in Afghanistan, and have grown to be bigger and more powerful than they ever were in their history, and have invaded Syria and are fighting a full-scale war with the Syrian army.
So, what would you have done on 9/12(2001)?
lol! Insanity is strong in this one!

So what part of the general government are you planning on keeping that you can fund with just 10% of the current need?
If you cut every but the military, you are cutting it by 1/3rd. So as you add items, you cut the military even more.
This is a example of how stupid you people are. You make these wild statements that are easily shown to be ridiculous.
it is funny when these fools step outside of the authorized parroted talking points and attempt to think for themselves...

After the Obama Admin got done with him there was certainly one LESS on the scene after Bush left office.
How about concentrating on AlQueada and tracking down every last one of them and killing them like the Obama Admin has done a far better job of doing then Repubs ever did.
And all without the sacrifice of thousands of young Service Personel.

Correct me if this is wrong, but the Iraqis elected that government, Iraq is majority Shi'ite, and those air supply flights were happening before Bush took office, were stopped while Bush was in office, and are now happening agian. The only difference is, Bush isn't the President anymore. Because Obama is President, western Iraq belongs to Al Qaeda.
By the way, can you explain to us why we're training Al Qaeda terrorists on a US military base in Jordan?
lol! Son, I've been correcting you for a long time and it has no effect.

When the media has a vested interest in protecting anyone in power, we're in big trouble.

Imagine four or five major networks like Fox News going to any lengths to get their chosen candidate elected and then helping that conservative president cover up his lies and protecting him as well as his administration by any means necessary - by simply not investigating and reporting the truth. We'd be in big trouble then too.

And then imagine one liberal-leaning cable network up against them but that one network being targeted by a far rightwing administration to try and silence them.

Anyone getting a clearer picture yet?

70% of fed spending goes directly to individuals…

(by John Merline, Investor’s Business Daily)– Buried deep in a section of President Obama’s budget, released this week, is an eye-opening fact: This year, 70% of all the money the federal government spends will be in the form of direct payments to individuals, an all-time high.
In effect, the government has become primarily a massive money-transfer machine, taking $2.6 trillion from some and handing it back out to others. These government transfers now account for 15% of GDP, another all-time high. In 1991, direct payments accounted for less than half the budget and 10% of GDP.
What’s more, the cost of these direct payments is exploding. Even after adjusting for inflation, they’ve shot up 29% under Obama.
ObamaCare, Medicare…
Where do these checks go? The biggest chunk, 38.6%, goes to pay health bills, either through Medicare, Medicaid or ObamaCare. A third goes out in the form of Social Security checks. Only 21% goes toward poverty programs — or “income security” as it’s labeled in the budget — and a mere 5% ends up in the hands of veterans.
Interestingly, despite Obama’s frequent pledges to reduce income inequality, the share of direct payments going toward “income security” has dropped from 25% in 2009 to 20% in 2014.(The average share from 1980 to 2008 was 25.4%.)
Obama’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget calls for this share to drop to just 17% by 2019, as his programs devote more and more federal tax money to middle-class entitlement programs such as ObamaCare.
Here’s another way to look at it: If all these federal direct payments went only to the poor, every person living in poverty today would receive an annual check worth $55,900.
Debunked! John Merline ROFLMAO

Actually stupid, after the first Gulf war the southern and northern parts of Iran were covered by a no fly zone that would have intercepted those flights and Saddam's air force and air defenses had the rest of the country covered. Prior to the war Iraq and Iran were still on a war footing with each other and Iranian aircraft wouldn't have been allowed to cross Iraqi airspace.
And your evidence for us training Al Qaeda terrorists is what? You don't have any; you just pulled it out of your anal orifice like everything you post.
You're an idiot DB; you always have been and always will be.
Look at a map, you moron. And you obviously didn't keep up with the news about how Iran was arming Hezbollah in Lebanon with air flights from Iran across Iraq to Syria during the 90s. Bush stopped that bullshit. It didn't start again until Obama sabotaged Iraq and let Al Qaeda take over the western half of Iraq.
The "war footing" among Arabs means something entirely diffent that you assume. For instance, after the cessation of hostilities (even during hostilities, but to a lesser degree) Shi'ites from Basra all the way to Kurdistan would go back and forth across the Iraq-Iran border visiting relatives and clam members, trading, and doing things like arranging marriages. It's so loose, during the Iraq-Iran war, Iran offered to stop fighting all together if Saddam Hussien would allow the Iranian army to travel across Iraq to fight Israel. There are always things warring Arab states will agree on. One is Israel and the United States are the most importan enemies. Everything else is secondary to that.
And that describes the relationship between Iran and Iraq while Iran shipped munitions across Iraq to Syria during the 90s.

You have no clue how the Arabs think. But, keep running your ignorant diatribe.

You're an idiot.

Does anyone remember how the Boston police detained a suspect from Saudi Arabia immediately after the bombing, and the FBI took him and sent him back to Saudi Arabia the very next day?

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 is a United States federal law aimed at preventing laws that substantially burden a person's free exercise of their religion.

PDupont was citing one Supreme Court case challenging that law as THE law.

No wonder he, like most liberals, sadly, are confused about everything else. The truth is just not that hard to understand or grasp. It's an aversion to the truth that leads to bigger problems - a dumb and dumber America. Sure wish it wasn't so.
