Here in Lee County the Health Care Insurance rates are going up! They want to blame it on Obamacare. To be honest, they did imply that their Health Care Plan did not cover as much as Obamacare and that maybe that is why its rising. Imagine that? Waking up in the hospital and told the Fl. Health Plan does not cover this or that and gives you a bill that financially wipes you out! Ahh now that’s the republican way. Not so in other states.
Insurance Premiums’ come a tumbling down. Individuals and families applying for 2014 Health Care are discovering their premiums at a 50% discount or more. N.Y. State as one example, of many states, has already approved the discounted premium cost. Citing an example of an individual that presently pays $1,000 per month will be able to obtain that same insurance coverage at a premium of $308 per month.
Obama’s administration followed up with their annalist of the CBO’s numbers, a bipartisan agency known as the Congressional Budget Office, did not take into account the sliding scale that is offered by the Health Care Bill. Adding a 10% to 18% greater premium savings to the individually insured, which will include additional discounts for incomes as high as $94,200 for a family of four.
Recent CBO report failure to project the accelerating decreasing debt provides credit to the Obama’s administrations Health Care cost projections. accuracy.
“Individual Mandates” written into the Health Care Bill is stimulating the insurance companies into a frenzy of competition. Factoring in, a wave of newly uninsured youthful clients.
Immediate reaction from the republicans extremist within their House is pushing their Bill to remove “Individual Mandate” from the Health Care Bill as it presently exist.
Fortunately democrats hold the Senate and Executive Branch and success of the republican extremist is not likely.
Individual Mandate’s value was demonstrated by N.Y. State. N.Y. State required that all applications for the 2014 Health Care Insurance be accepted. However they excluded the Individual Mandate clause. Needless to say the results were that the frail and sick of health applied as the youthful healthy citizens declined.
N.Y.’s experiment illuminates the value of the “Individual Mandate” clause. Republican’s House extremist seeking to sabotage, our Health Care, should be duly noted for what actions will be required by the voters of 2014.

Personnel Health Care rose in the last 12 months ending in May at the SLOWEST rate in 50 years! Hospitals and nursing homes services DECLINED!
Personnel consumption spending rose by 1.1%. Hospitals readmissions DROPED from the average 19% to 17.9%! Due to the passage of the Obama Health Care Laws.
Industry analyst show a DECREASE in the overall cost of Health Care. In May 2013 the CBO {Congressional Budget Office} reported a $618 BILLION drop in their projected Medicare and Medicaid cost over the next decade. Department of Health and Human Services reports 3% increase to the employers Health Care Insurance. LOWEST increase since 1996!
Jobs in industries that did not provide Health Insurance, such as restaurants, saw their sales and employment rise more than any other retail industry since the Obamacare Law passed. Restaurants grew in employment by 11% with their retail sales growing at 17%. Employees hours grew by 3%. Data has been confirmed as it is being Nationally Conclusive through out all sectors of our economy.
Helen Darling, CEO for the National Business Group On Health, the bulwark of criticism of Obamacare, with tongue in cheek states “The good news is that increased customers means that the economy continues to be the primary driver of employment” as she furiously back pedals out of sight mumbling “Americans are felling better about the economy so are eating out more, compared to the Great Recession. This is good news for the country but this doesn’t mean we don’t need to actively control Health Care Cost or we can relax”..?? Not actively control Health Care Cost?? She is still in denial. Another one that lacks comprehension abilities, from the Right Wing Darlings.
Obamacare Sounds good to me. Universal Health Care would be an ideal goal for even greater Health Care savings.
Obamacare penalized Hospitals that readmitted Medicare patients that returned before 30 days. Changing the billings from per procedure sharing in savings from duplicating procedures tests and unnecessary procedures that would reduce their allotment of funds if not done so. Obamacare goes further with provisions to foster coordinated care reduction, reducing preventable health complications during hospitalization. Promote adoption of up to date health information technologies.
Consider that the full Obamacare has yet to flex its even greater savings of Health Care Cost , when it begins to go into effect October 2013 and supported on January first of 2014.
So much for the HYPER Foxy Opinioned propaganda.

Not only are technical problems effecting the roll out of Obamacare, whether it be as a faulty soft ware issue or an induced error from an external source is yet to be determined. In the end it will be investigated for years to come no doubt.
Another feature will be the present infrastructures of Insurance companies that seek to hold their monopoly on various sectors of our nations populace. That as well will be addressed and rectified.
Where there is competition amongst 4 or more insurance companies in a sector produces lower premium cost as those such as in rural areas have 2 or less cost is higher. Sharp difference which exposes the erroneous previous insurance infrastructure that promoted continuous higher cost of Health Care with a national average of 7 % per year to premiums and accelerating. Once this abnormality is dealt with estimates for premium increases will average approximately 3.3% per year. In ratio with the rate of living income index
Presently many of the poor are being offered the highest-priced plans in the 34 states. Of the 2,500 counties, 58% have only one or two insurance companies. Driving a higher cost to insurance. Their obstructions as well as some hospitals to have competition brought in , will delay the full benefits of Obamacare to be realized by those citizens for some time to come.
Example; Wyoming with only two insurers are significantly higher than their neighbor Montana with three insurers. Even across county lines differences can be substantial. Monroe County Fl. with two insurers, suffer greater cost compared to their neighbor Miami-Dade County, with seven companies in competition.
Rural Baker County Ga. With one insurer a 50 year old would pay on silver plan $644.05 where as his counterpart in Atlanta Ga. Pays $320.06.
Most of these low competition one insurer states are in the southern belt of our USA. In the North, Main, West Virginia, North Carolina, Alaska and N.H.
“The consumer wants some level of choice,” said Alexander K. Feldvebel, the deputy insurance commissioner for New Hampshire, where one carrier, Anthem Blue Cross, owned by WellPoint, now offers plans.“You don’t have that when you have a single carrier offering all the products.”
Well people have to run now, hope this helps you and your associates in comprehending what is effecting Health Cost.

Jan.1 2014 it takes affect. No more of the right wing’s monopolized medical health insurance with their death panels. No more OH we don’t cover that and you have to pay $$$$.

Doors opening for Obamacare displaying some of what is about to be seen. Ted Cruz and his like sit in a corner with their “Bah Humbug” demeanor. As usual their tactic for governing is simply “Our Way Or The Highway” Shutdown, shutdown.. Callow , callow….
What a difference with an intelligent leadership. President Obama open a small preview of things to come.“I can tell you right now that in many states across the country, if you’re, say, a 27-year-old young woman, don’t have health insurance, you get on that exchange, you’re going to be able to purchase high-quality health insurance for less than the cost of your cellphone bill,” Mr. Obama said Tuesday.
For a benchmark plan — the second-lowest-cost “silver plan,” covering 70 percent of projected medical costs for a typical consumer — the average premium nationally will be $328 a month for individuals.
Yes, yes I know what about the 30% remaining. Keep in mind Medicare that many already enjoy. They could use it as a supplement as I use Medicare as a supplement to my VFW medical benefits.
This is for those approaching Medicare and cannot afford health insurance at all. Once you reach fifty and you lose a job good luck getting another one. Out to pasture to graze on your laurels will more likely be the case. Minim income if any and NO health insurance. That’s where the Previous republican behemoth monopolized Health Insurance Companies started to hit these individuals with huge increases in premiums and less coverage, with higher co pays. Its going to take a few years to fix that corruptive hole that republicans created with their dysfunctional Health Care Insurance plans.
For a family of “FOUR” with an annual income of $50,000, the administration said, monthly premiums for the second-cheapest plan will vary widely, averaging $600 in Arizona,$800 in Georgia,$961 in Indiana,$1,069 in Mississippi,$859 in New Hampshire,$943 in New Jersey and $656 in Utah.
OF course this is our first steps unto the road of someday Universal Care as the rest of our civilized world already enjoys at far less cost than our start up cost. There will be higher cost for those states that obstructs and or require the Federal to actively set up the program for them. Catering service charges, that the taxpayers of those states will be paying, for voting in a dysfunctional leadership. 2014 coming. Rectify that problem or additional obstructions will cost more to remove charged to the taxpayers insurance plan.

Why Obamacare? Only naives of the medical world would question that.“OR” corruptive supporters of austerity.
A sampling of Health Care cost in the USA versus other Nations.
USA avg. cost for an Angiogram $914 Canada’s cost $35 ! Colonoscopy USA $1,185 Switzerland $655 ! USA hip replacement $40,364 Spain $7,731! USA Liptor $124.00 New Zealand $6.00! USA MRI scan $1,121, Netherlands $319!
.Source: 2012 Comparative Price Report by the International Federation of Health Plans. The average prices shown for colonoscopies do NOT include added fees for sedation by an anesthesiologist, a practice common in the United States, but unusual in the rest of the world. The additional charges can increase the cost “significantly.”
Here is a sample of actual colonoscopy cost to some patients in the USA.
Deirdre Yapalater recent colonoscopy in Merrick N.Y. that went smoothly as routine cancer screening can be expected. Nothing found and she was billed $6,385! Which is closer to the norm. Matt Meyer of Keen N.H. colonoscopy bill $7,563.56. Maggie Christ, Chappaqua N.Y. received her bill for colonoscopy $9142.84!
Insurance companies were responsive to those patients charges by increasing their premiums by 10%, rising co-payments and deductibles. Price of quality? Not so, for numerous studies have discovered that Americans do not get better Health Care than the Nations that provide this procedure for less than $1,000 max.
International Federation of Health Plans list the USA as the highest most costly in all of the 21 categories that they investigated. Cost difference significantly larger than that of Nations that have private or national systems for their Health Care. Hip replacement in USA four time that of Switzerland and France. Caesarean section three times of New Zealand or Britain. USA Nasonex for allergies $108, Spain’s price $21. Hospital stays triple that of the rest of the developed nations. Reported from the Commonwealth Fund Foundation in their studies of health policies.
….Colonoscopy moved from the doctors routine examination to surgical atmospheres. More economical scenarios for this procedure is still practiced through out the developed world.
We’ve defaulted to by far, the most expensive option, without much if any data to support it,” said Dr. H. Gilbert Welch, a professor of medicine at the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
…“The U.S. just pays providers of health care much more for everything,” said Tom Sackville, chief executive of the health plans federation and a former British health minister.
Obamacare about to take center stage will be addressing these issue as well as many others. Hopefully in time to suppress the growing tide of Medical Tourist seeking the Liberal International Free Trade Markets with their medical competitors.

Are you pregnant? Under the present republican plan of Health Care you can expect this…
Renée Martin pregnancy in Laconia N.H. was a wake up call to her and her husband Mark Willett both professionals with Health Care Insurance. Her present policy does not cover maternity! Soon they began to question each cost factor. Epidural anesthesia with the option of a birthing tube labor became a serious decision. Additional investigation as to what the actual cost of maternity care was vague to non existence. Inquiry to Hospitals finance offices had little help. Giving Ms. Martin a range of $4,000 to $45,000 ! Actually the “average” cost is slightly above $37,000 in the USA. Ms. Martin discovered many of the arrays for maternity have no fixed price if any. Midway through her pregnancy she received a bill for $935 for an ultrasound that she had already paid a radiologist to read the scan $256, which took 20 minutes. After extensive stressful negotiations bill was reduced to $655 from the $935 billing.
“I feel like I’m in a used-car lot,” Ms. Martin replied.
Sticker shock on pregnancy can be attributed to how the cost has tripled since 1996.{N.Y. Times, Truven Health Analytics} Four Million annual births now cost the USA over $50 billion. Other developed nations through out the world have fractions of that cost to their Health Care programs. Additionally they provide all the same quality technological and primary care that the USA offers on their most expensive maternity procedures.“It’s not primarily that we get a different bundle of services when we have a baby,” said Gerard Anderson, an economist at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health who studies international health costs.“It’s that we pay individually for each service and pay more for the services we receive.”
As of 2011, up to 62% of American women with private insurance and not through an employer denied or excludes maternity care. Those that do have them are feeling the cost as their deductibles and co-payments accelerating. All the while certain pregnancy related services become excluded. 2004 to 2010 vaginal births cost rose 49% and Caesarean sections by 41% Out of pocket expense quadrupled! Three Health Care groups hired Truven for that analyst as well as to the average total price of delivery. Which is as follows; Vaginal births $30,000 and $50,000 for the C-section. Insurance paid out an average of $18,329 and $27,866 end of report. Survey by Childbirth Connection reported that the women’s out of pocket fee average $3,400 .
In the other developed nations there s little to no charge for maternity care. They consider it vital to ensuring the health of future generations.
Ireland free maternity at public hospitals and a small fee for deliveries in private hospitals. Switzerland, France and the Netherlands have an Average price for a vaginal delivery of $4,000 of which the mother pays very little of that due to strict regulations and price settings. France, one example of many in the developed nations, have their mothers remain for up to a week to recoup where in the USA 1 to 2 days and out they go.
With Obamacare we can rein in this messed up maternity nonsense. Republican’s Austerity ideology does not work is evident in all factors of our cultures here and through out the world.

Looking for a job? Educate yourself and get one. Its easy as pie.
As I predicted. Columbus Ohio is the first to publicly announce the growing gap of Primary Care Physicians. Obamacare has stimulated an employment scenario. New uninsured patients requiring primary care will be flooding the markets as they become insured on January 1st 2014. Demand for Primary Care Physicians will be in ever increasing demand, as well as all of the orbiting fields that support primary care.{Nurses, medical assistance, administrators, Maintenance personnel etc., etc.} Emergency Rooms {ER’s} will start to lose their primary care patients to “Private Primary Care Physicians”. Relieving the burden of financially costly primary care status to their ER’s. Reducing cost of Health Care.
This will take years to fill in this gap. The “Association of American Medical Colleges” estimates that within 2 years there will be a shortage of 33,000 Primary Care Physicians to rise up to 66,000 within a decade. Imagine how many will be required in the orbiting fields , that supports private Primary Care Physicians. Looking for a job?
Now doctors will start to organize their patient loads to what each one is comfortable with. Some will use retainer fee’s for the more affluent, returning us to the good old days of doctors making house calls. Suppressing waiting time for patients in their waiting rooms. Increasing an atmosphere for quality time for the one on one doctor patient scenario’s. Suppressing the unnecessary medical test , as the doctor will be more familiar with their patients. Decreasing the HMO’s intrusive bureaucratic death panel decisions. Decreasing cost to Health Care.
New York is throwing $Millions on the problem, Texas has approved for two Medical schools to provide Primary Care Physicians and Florida has extended the authority of their optometrist to prescribe additional medications, related to their fields.
Nevada is the lowest per capita for efforts to close the Primary Care Physician gap followed by Mississippi, Utah, Texas and Idaho, according to the Association Of Medical Colleges.
Presently Primary Care Resident Doctors are overwhelmed with hundreds of offers to choose from. If you don’t have a Primary Care Physician, suggest you make haste to acquire one before they close their doors to new patients.
Obamacare will provide millions of jobs and lower Health cost at greater quality.
Republicans desire the old truly tested failure of the past on this Health Care system. Promoting insurance monopolies with their ever increasing cost and dwindling quality care.
Harvard in 2009 did a study on our nations health care system. Discovered we were losing 45,000 citizens per year simply due to lack of primary care health. Ah but that’s the republican way. Lower the surplus population. Bah Humbug I say to them…

Exposing their comic book, bumper sticker ideology. Now observe their so called leadership in the House on the Hill and how they are replicas of each other. Is this what we ant for our USA. Less than callow sophomores with never increasing degrading intelligence. You decide 2014.
