OBAMA WORSE THAN BUSH wrote:
Even Democratic Party Loyalists Starting to Wake Up to the Fact that Obama Is As Bad As Bush … Or Worse

Obama Is Worse than Bush In Favoring the Super-Elite, Bailing Out the Big Banks, Protecting Financial Criminals, Targeting Whistleblowers, Keeping Government Secrets, Trampling Our Liberties and Starting Military Conflicts In New Countries

Glenn Greenwald notes that even Democratic party loyalists are getting fed up with Obama’s Bush-like actions:

Even the most loyal establishment Democrats are now harshly denouncing the president for his war on transparency ….

This secrecy has become so oppressive and extreme that even the most faithful Democratic operatives are now angrily exploding with public denunciations.

(Greenwald gives numerous examples.)

The Hill reported last month:

A majority of voters believe President Obama has been no better than his immediate predecessor, President George W. Bush, when it comes to balancing national security with the protection of civil liberties, according to a new poll for The Hill.

Thirty-seven percent of voters argue that Obama has been worse than Bush while 15 percent say he has been “about the same.”[In other words, a total of 52% think Obama is just as bad as Bush. That was before the drone controversy - discussed below - went viral.]

***

The results cannot be fully explained as party line responses. More than one in five self-identified Democrats, 21 percent, assert that the Obama administration has not improved upon Bush’s record. So do 23 percent of liberals.

Indeed, more and more Democrats are waking up the fact that Obama is doing a lot of the same stuff Bush did.

Bush was a horrible president. His warmongering, disrespect for civil liberties, redistribution of wealth from the poor and middle class to the super-elite, and obsession for secrecy were all abysmal.

But how does Obama stack up by objective measurements?

Let’s compare …
Favoring the Super-Elite the Expense of Everyone Else

Income inequality has increased more under Obama than under Bush.

Under Obama, the richest Americans have captured more than 100% of all income gains (and see this).

Liberal Nobel prize economist Joseph Stiglitz said in 2009 that Obama’s toxic asset plan “amounts to robbery of the American people”.
Bailing Out the Big Banks

While everyone knows about the $700 billion “Tarp” bailout which started under Bush, a top banking analyst puts the current bailouts under Obama at more than $780 billion each year.(Background here.)
Protecting Financial Criminals

Obama has prosecuted fewer financial crimes than President Reagan, Clinton or either of the Bush presidents.

Obama’s chief law enforcement officer – the Attorney General of the United States – has publicly stated that he won’t go after big banks.
Targeting Whistleblowers

Obama has prosecuted more whistleblowers than all other presidents combined.

Obama – even more than Bush – is protecting criminal activity by prosecuting and harassing whistleblowers.

Indeed, the Obama administration is are literally treating whistleblowers as terrorists.
So?

If Obama becomes Bush, Liberals will continue to be zombie worshippers of the incompetent man-child!!!

Not from his track record.
You're better off staying on the floor where you belong.

O the Hypocrite in Chief

The Obama's recent Martha's Vineyard summer vacation digs were at private equity guru, David Schulte’s,$7.6 million Martha’s Vineyard mega mansion.

David Schulte, founder of the private equity firm Chilmark Partners, whose private equity firm specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate “restructuring,” was one of Obama’s 2013 inaugural donors.

Before founding the Chicago-based Chilmark Partners in 1984, Schulte, a Yale Law School graduate, directed the Wall Street investment bank Salomon Brothers’“Corporate Reorganization Group.”

Meanwhile, another private equity group founder, former Bain Capital CEO Mitt Romney, slammed President Obama’s job performance in a speech last week in the New England summer resort town of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

See floor dweller, Schulte and Romney also created REAL COMPANIES and REAL JOBS. Sometimes and because they aren't government failures draining taxpayers, businesses don't succeed and there are sound business reasons why some jobs are sent overseas. One being that unions and environmentalists have made building factories in the US impossible and impossible to make a profit, which is what normal non-government businesses are supposed to do.

What jobs, besides phony green jobs that cost taxpayers more than they were worth, has Obama ever created? And how many companies are not hiring over worries about ObamaCare?

The Syrian “boil”

In Syria, a huge mistake was made. One of the secret weapons labs inside the Republic of Georgia supplied weaponized Sarin gas to forces fighting the Assad regime.

The purpose was simple. This was the only way to put “blood enemies” like Senator’s Graham and McCain in concert with the Obama administration.

People talk but no one really knows why Obama would allow himself to be placed in such a situation. We see the signs of a global intrigue involving Russia and China.

It is as though Obama believes an act as insane as attacking Syria is, somehow, going to save the world from being overrun by nations actually worse than the United States.

However, on close examination, there is no reliable evidence that such nations actually exist.

What the WMD attack in Syria did do, however, is expose the presence of a series of facilities whose “output” makes Sarin gas look like child’s play.

The labs are real, just as real as NSA spying. Recently, they manufactured what may well lead to a world war over Syria.

They can do worse. The people who fund them, who run them, who had them constructed and oversee their nightmarish purpose do not believe in the survival of the human race.

We know that too.

What would happen if Congress, or one half of it, voted against authorizing a punitive U.S. strike against Syria?
A view shared by the Obama administration and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., alike is that it would prove disastrous to U.S. standing and trust. After meeting with Obama Monday, McCain said outside the White House:
"If the Congress were to reject a resolution like this, after the president of the United States has already committed to action, the consequences would be catastrophic in that the credibility of this country with friends and adversaries alike would be shredded. And it would be not only implications for this presidency, but for future presidencies as well."
Of course, there's always the possibility that the House could vote against a U.S. military strike and Obama could go forward with it anyway, especially if he gets a strong Senate vote in favor of punitive attacks. Some lawmakers, like Rep. Peter King, D-N.Y., and McCain have argued that Obama would have the constitutional authority to order strikes without Congress' authorization. Obama has said so himself as well.
But if Congress votes no, Obama "can then say:'Well, leadership is not about solely imposing your will. It's also about following the will of the people and this is a democratic electoral process and that's what I'm doing now,' " says Wayne.
"It does seem to me the public might be relieved if Congress said no," Wayne continued. "I think [seeking congressional approval] was an astute political move by a guy who placed himself in a no-win position."
