Republicans have always lowered taxes across the board - as far back as I can remember.

Medicare and Social Security will have to undergo major reforms by absolute necessity. The Democrats are just kicking that can down the road.

Overregulation is much worse than not enough. Fannie and Freddie could have been regulated. Bush was one of the voices crying in the wildnerness long before 2007. Some Republicans were guilty of not paying attention but Democrats were even worse.

A total of 111 Democrats voted to topple Saddam's regime. Because almost all of them considered him a threat long before 9/11.
