Now it all comes out. When Capree (and others like her) start taling about anything aside from male/female or IR reatlions, she knows next to NOTHING.(Not that such persons are very perceptive about relationships either). On history or contemporary isssues, their conversation drops down to (if not below) the level of Jerry Springer.
But don't take it too seriously. She know AA history as little as the history of NA peoples. But don't hold your breath waiting for her to acknwledge this.
Imagine not knowing about th fate of the Pequods, NA people in Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
How can you not know that NATIVE Americans were subject to slavery even before the Africans?

For the most part the white settlers just had the army wipe out the tribes as opposed to enslaving them. Those who weren't murdered were herded off to reservations and had their culture stripped from them by the good Christians who set up schools and denied the people their language and traditional ways. Sad and shameful, imho......

You need to read some history. I've already mentioned one text by renouwn historian Howard Zinn.
Denying the enslavement of Indians is as dumb as denying the Holocaust. Maybe spend less time on the net, cable TV, ipads or whatever occupies your time.
I am just waiting for someone to produce some creditable proof like a government document on Indian slavery by whites in America like I did showing you all the official signed document of the Emancipation Proclamation. I can show you other proof of black slavery to also. Why is it the only thing you both can do is pull something off the top of your heads or finds some generic site spouting this claim with out any proof also but you fools think I should regard it as the gospels????

But with the Holocaust like with black slavery in America there were tons of official documentation. Even better proof because the Holocaust happen less than 100 years of their is also tons of taped footage and even some survivors left.

One of the first things to be noted is that Capree never seems to refer to books or articles authored by historians, only blogspot links and other such items. I've already told you that you might start with A PEOPLES HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, written by a professional HISTORIAN. Not a "generic site" or something pulled off the top of one's head
I suggested that source because I think it accessible for someone who, like yourself, doesn't read or study very much.
Now a number of people, better informed than yourself, tried to explain to you that initially Europeans tried to enslave Indians. Indeed, forced labor in the West Indies caused the extinction of Native Americans in the Caribbean, and came closed to doing so on the South American continent. It was for this reason that Bartolome de Las Casas, a Dominicna priest, missionary and historian, appealed in the 16th Century to the King of Spain to ABOLISH Native American slavery.(Obviously, you canot abolish something unless it exists). Instead he proposed--and the King accepted--the idea of Importing supposedly more robust Blacks from the more populous continent of Africa.
In North America, initial efforts to enslave the Indians were abandoned for the option of genocide, and the use of African slaves instead. This happened in the COLONIAL PERIOD.(I trust you at least know that we were English colonies before becoming the USA). Hence one would not expect any government documents regarding Indian slavery. By the time the American Republic was established a "final solution" to the "Indian problem" had already been decided upon, and was continued until 90% of them had been extinguished and all their lands stolen.
Now I've just given you an abbreviated description of history that any high schooler would know if he or she only visited a LIBRARY on occasion.
Oh, yes: The Emancipation Proclamation is also OLD NEWS. I'm glad you've at least heard of that.

Yes, I recall that after some initial efforts to enslave Indians genocide was decided as the better option. This seems to be especially true here in North America.
In the Caribbean, slavery itself is said to have largely caused the genocide of Native Americans. The Taino seems to have disappeared from what is now the Dominican Republic, thanks to forced labor and starvation imposed by the Spaniards.
NOrth American Indians were harder to enslave, partly because english settlers didn't succeed in quickly annexing the entire continent. If one kidnapped and enslaved a Native American he or she might escape and return to the protection of his or her own people in what was afterall home.
I guess whites here found it more convenient to simply kill the Indians, take away their homes, and use Africans for forced labor instead.
One people nearly exterminated, and another people reduced to chattel. It is sickening even to think of the innumerable atrocities which mark the history of the USA.

At least The Emancipation Proclamation is well documented. I have already said that there were some cases of slavery of Indians by the European colonies in America and later a few in the U.S.A. but never on the grand organized scale that black slavery in the U.S. was. Sure Europeans and later Americans tried to enslave Indians in large masses but were unsuccessful because the Indians would rather fight or die than be the property of others.

First of all, don't assume what is offensive to me because I never associated myself with the N word nor the N word with other decent people of color. Second of all, don't assume the identity of being NA because NAs don't accept you as one of them just because your great grandmother's aunt on her fathers side is 1/4 NA.

She cant assume what is offensive to you but you can assume that she isnt full NA?
LOL!!!
You are a batty assed trip.

Also...didnt you say sometime back that you were verbally abused and called the n word by an ex? Since you were hurt by that, its safe to say you considered it offensive. Unless, of course, you were lying.:)

Unfortunately, we live in a society where the O.P's dilemma proves true time and time again. This can be attributed to the black male's gradual decline in desirability by most women in general. Unfortuantely, many are also confused of the difference between consensual vs. forcible assaults.

Maybe you should analyze the syntax of his sentence, dummy. However, it doesn't surprise me that you would miss the nuance of his mistake. Go back to school child. This time through, try to pay attention.

As the desirability of black men - especially in America - continues to deteriorate, all ages of all races of women (including his own) become increasingly subject to forcible sexual attacks by a black man at parties, clubs, public transportation, and even in their own homes. Much proof exists.
