I don't need to know every Puerto Rican in order to know when someone is maliciously misrepresenting Puerto Rican demographics via overgeneralization.
BTW
The only one who can tell me to leave this PUBLIC FORUM is Topics administration. Everyone else here is just a simple user with no authority whatsoever. In short, I stay as long as I want and post as frequently as I want and there is nothing this wench can do about it except snarl, yowl, yelp and finally grin and bear it. Reality is bitter that way sometimes.

Perhaps if you would take the time and shy away from "Topix", instead of challenging everyone here. You would have noticed that I was address that issue with someone else.

Yet you chose to challenge everyone here with your so-called knowledge, I'm under the impression that you have nothing else better to do with yourself, life, etc...

Perhaps you you would have noticed that I was replying to someone else instead of you "Idiot", or maybe you're just paranoid to the extreme and you cannot help yourself by challenging everyone who post...

Puerto Ricans are not spanish "Idiot", in fact PRs fom Puerto Rico do not label themselves "Spanish" if you notice that' none of them do..

Spanish are from Spain, When I lived in New Jersey, I hear Puerto Ricans and Domnicans from New Jersey and NY label themselves "Spanish" That is an insult to people from Spain...

Btw, that is not a cultural thing by labeling yourselves "Spanish", your culture may be somewhat of spanish but true puerto ricans do not label themselves as "Spanish" nor will Dominicans from the DR...

That's called overgeneralization based on scanty unrepresentative evidence. Ignoring demograpic data and fanatically insisting applying your limited personal experience to eight million people is silly. It also indicates a fanatically racist, undereducated, mind. It's like a person meeting mostly just lip-plated blacks
and insisting that most blacks wear lip plates. That's why we have surveys and demograpical studies, to avoid that sort of idiocy.

Latinos couldn't care less what AAs call themselves and yet you are hysterically looking out for the slightest twitch.

Anyway, I never said that Puerto Ricans go around habitually doing that. I said that when they do, it's a deffensive thing against expected discrimination. So I strongly suspect that to be the motive for that loocal phenomenon Learn to read imbecile.

As for insult to Spain, well, some peaple might view AA identication with blacks an insult to blacks. The world is full of morons. But that doesn't mean that the majority do. Furthermore Spaniards acknowledge openly the cultural ties that bind it historically and ethnically to its former colonies. In fact, it considers the friendship between us as special and makes a concerted effort to promote and keep it that way.

I believe this post is referred to Newyoricans and not actually to Puerto Ricans. Fact is that most people on the island can't speak English. You can expect most responses to be from newyoricans and blacks on this post. Do you people honestly believe that puerto ricans on the island feel proud or honored by the image these newyoricans give us?

Fact is that at least half of the newyoricans are fake puerto ricans. I've seen people saying " my great great grandfather was Puerto Rican" so I say im Puerto Rican. You see this happens very often in New York, especially with African Americans. Then you hear these people talk and they have thise stupid ghetto stupid mentality. "The white man this and that" We don't care about your damn constant moaning on the white man.

Many of them just act like blacks and most probably because many of them are not entirely Puerto Rican. That would be like me claiming to be Spaniard because my great great grandfather was Spanish. Completely irrational..

Facts, if one of your grandfathers was Puerto Rican, and you have Puerto Rican descent, that doesn't make you one of us. Especially when you can't speak Spanish properly or dont have any knowledge of our culture. Such people are guilty of giving us bad reputation in USA.

I feel sorry for those Puerto Ricans that were discriminated when they arrived to usa and then they mixed with black people in those poor neighboorhoods.

However, they dont represent the Puerto Rican spirit, culture and everthing that makes you a Puerto Rican. The whole idiosyncracy.
Do these people think that waving a Puerto-Rican flag and shaking it around their asses makes them puerto rican.

On top of that they often vandalize our flag by putting some rapper shit and crap on the it. To be puerto Rican you gotta know the culture. I am sorry for those blacks that claim to be Puerto Rican because they have a minimal Puerto Rican ancetry while they are mostly black. They do have some real identity issues.

And this whole embarrassing issue for the REAL Puerto Rican people is one of the finest examples why many people oppose statehood in the island. It would destroy our culture, our identity and everything that truly represent us. Specially our hispanic traditions.

Lmao, as you claim to say that it is in your culture to claim that Puerto Ricans label themselves as "Spanish" is nonsense (idiot). There is a difference between Spanish, Latino, Hispanic' culture...

You can come here and try to educate me on what your thesis is about "Spanish" People but, in reality Spanish People do not put them in same ballpark with Latinos and Hispanics; as a matter of fact they consider themselves (spanish) a step above...

I yet to hear people of Mexico, Central and South American Countries, just as well as many People(Gentes) from Caribbean label themselves as "spanish" unlike many Puerto Ricans/Dominicans from the East Coast...

I live here in San Antonio Tx and I know plenty Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans, Panamanians, and people from Argentina who never call themselves "Spanish"...

whatever your angle is trying to challenging everyone with your idotic thesis; I think you should really take a crash course in various cultures..

I was telling it like it is, do not confuse "Spanish People" with Hispanics and Latinos, there is a difference "Idiot" yet you come to say that it's a part of your Culture?...

Cultures are different "Idiot", Mexicans don't claim they're spanish unless they have direct blood in them as well as others will...

Furthermore "Idiot", Spanish People do not recognize the cultural ties that bound. You try and teach that concept to Spanish citizens and they would look you up and down and laugh at your stupid "Thesis"..

My Ex is from Zaragoza Es, and there are many South American People who are flooding into spain from Cuba, Dominican Republic and Ecuador stinking up Spains "Euro" and bringing down the value and the Spanish People are forced to move either to Paraguay or Uruquay due to the economy..

Just as there was a big "Hype" in the early 80s' stupid Black Men claming they were from the "Zulu Nation" was the in thing' despite, how many Native Africans think of African Americans, there were many staking this claim...

You should grow up a bit more before you try and "Educate" me little Man. After all; you are very clueless...

Going back requires that you have been there before comming to the USA stateside. PRs born and raised in ghe USAc proper have no desire to return to a strange place they have never been and speaks a language they can scarcely understand and much less speak properly.

My three kids were all born in the USA, speak English but can't speak Spanish. None of them has a desire to return to somewhere they have never been. In fact, that is obviously a logical impossibility.

You are very very clueless I will say. I known plenty of puert Ricans who have family members who have welcomed them back to live in PR. There are many "Native Born" PRs and many Native Born Americans who live in PR as well...

What is so interesting, PRs are not the majority of the Latinos in Society, what is the mass hysteria over?, People should be more worried about the Typical Jose who is from Mexico multiplying in numbers taking over this country...

That's what the issue should be over. It's not about Miguelito Torres who is Boricua because them days have been surpassed by "Hispanics" taking over NY. Take a look at Plainfield NJ overruned by El Salvadorians, Mott Haven Section of the South Bronx being taken over by "Mexicans"...

Notice how this person ASSSUMES negatives about PRs! Nothing unusual. A lot of them resort to using partial sign language when addressing a PR because they assume illiteracy in English. The problem with that is that my college entrance English proficiency test results came out at the doctoral level.

So to me a person wildly pantomiming in front of me like a circus clown in order to communicate without knowing me personally comes across as an uncultured imbecile.

The same holds true for anyone of another culture assuming idiotically they can tell my what my culture is all about. Simply put, it's a totally moronic display of presumptuousness based on ignorance with a good dash of racism thrown in for good measure.
